I was watching Gone Baby Gone the other day and was surpised to see that one of the characters was an obese coke addict. I thought this was strange since I
thought cocaine curbed the user's appetite.

Yes. Coke makes you thin. It causes severe loss of apetite, high blood pressure and metabolism breakdown. your organs will eventually eat themselves.
That's if you don't die of a stroke or heart attack first as are the common symptoms of coke abuse.

normally, yeah, they are thin. you would have to really really be into the stuff to be really thin though, and usually if you're really really into coke,
unless you're a millionaire, you become a crackhaid. they are thin, but not as thin as heroin addicts.
when they get clean from about 6 to 18 months, they look like somebody put a bicycle pump in their asses and blew them up. |

Depends. Coke acts differently on different peoples. I think Farley, and Artie Lange, are on more than just coke. Maybe they included a lot of baby formula
when they cut their coke, thus making them look fatter?

But when Artie was doing blow, he was pretty faithful to just coke. He wasn't into heroin at that point. He got skinny on that shit though. I know plenty
of peeps that gained weight on coke. Don't know why. Maybe it's like adderall, it calms some but jacks up others.
