Yeah that looked a litlte spoilery to me too so I avoided most of it. TV Guide and EW are pretty great about bieng spoiler-lite.

Just speaking for myself here, but I don't mind reading "there will be more death before the end of the season" because, duh, it's Lost.
But, something like "there will be 9 deaths next episode, one of which will be a dismembering by polar bear" is more specific than I want to know.
JMO. If people want to know that stuff, I'm not going to have a fit about it being posted, but don't act like anyone is getting run out of this thread
just because I asked for a little warning if someone was posting something regarding people dying in the upcoming episode.
Have we seen that Richard only has 4 toes on each foot yet? |

I hear ya Cindi. It's illogical to think that we will ever be able to competely divide the severity of spoiler information to the point that everyone will
be satisfied. Spoilerfix, despite the name, is actually pretty good about not giving away crucial bits of information (such as most of the heavy spoilers
found on darkufo's site). It's usually restricted to TV Guide, Kristin's Blog, and the Podcasts with the occasional bit from other fringe sites.

I don't really care about the statue, it seems a lot like the numbers to me. First it's "Oh, just wait, the numbers(statue) is/are very important" then it's "Well, maybe we'll get to them(it)", and then finally it was "Well, the numbers don't really mean anything. They're just numbers." I'm fully expecting to hear that about the statue eventually. |

For me the statue has always represented that next level of the mythology we haven't really broken into yet. Ben's Gateway to Smokey HQ seems to be
another piece. Patience, patience. All good things to those who wait.

I agree with CP to the extent that there is probably a lot of story that needs to be told and questions addressed before we find out what the statue is about.
Obviously, I think, the primary objective of inserting the statue into the show was to signify that the Island has a long and presumably tumultuous history,
rather than the statue personifying anything significant on its own.
I would, however, like to know who built it and why. |
