The mystery items were probably more entertaining to the viewers because we don't know if it'll be good or bad. I mean, was it more exciting to watch them viciously bid for a peanut butter sandwich or trying to guess whether Eric was suckered into a bad deal?

I'd actually rather watch them viciously bid for a peanut butter sandwich. If most of the items are mystery items, it just gets annoying to watch. It's like watching the same item over and over again.
