Actually - I would buy GTA IV, but all of my consoles are connected to my big TV in my living room....and now that my son lives with me, he confiscated it to watch Nick and play Wii ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY!!!

It's mainly getting 8/10 on reviews.... I will rent first... beat all the tracks... I hear the wheel is not as accurate as the classic / gamecube controller

I got 1st place in 50cc Mushroom Cup, so far so good.

I still haven't gotten the hang of drifting mechanics, of which I was an expert in the older games. Having 2 as the acceleration button is a little awkward because of the feel of the button. Took me a while to figure out how to hold on to items. The tracks are also a little goofy and gimmicky.

Otherwise it rocks.

Sorry, but until you can have a knife fight on a steel beam suspended hundreds of feet above the city, I'm gonna have to say GTA IV wins.

Never said it didn't. But GTA is out on Tuesday, so for the next two days it's brightly-colored shells all the way.

I played a few games online and embarrassed myself.

But I did turn myself into a giant Bullet Bill, which was awesome. I nominate the squid thing as the most useless powerup of the game...ooh, it squirts ink on their screen, now their view is partially blocked for a few seconds.

What the hell, I want a Wii.

I loved Super Mario Kart on playstation or whatever it was. Little toad and his woman were my favorite <3. I think we turned it into a drinking game at one point.

Also - I tried to connect to someone "Worldwide" and it never found anyone. Yeah right! Millions of people playing the game, and it can't even find ONE for me to lose against?!

Edit - WTF? I can see your avatar, but it says "Unable to Meet Up". Im sure you've heard that before, but I'm not used to such rejection!!!

For me it says you're "not on Nintendo WFC now". I didn't have a problem connecting to worldwide play (it took a minute or two but that's to be expected). Maybe your connection sucks.

I've just been Mario for now, I was Mario in 64 and did pretty much everyone in the original.

I quit the race to find you NC and it said you were still offline.
