Finally a theme that suits him! Funny though, he's done pretty damn well on just about every other theme that doesn't fit his "style" so far
(Dolly, Mariah, Andrew Lloyd Webber)...watch him bomb on his theme night.

I assume for final three week it'll be Disney songs. |

Which would completely take RchuD2 out of the race, by your logic! Yeah!

Oooh--maybe the little prodigy will pick "Hound Dog." I would totally pay to see him go all lounge lizard with Hound Dog.

don't forget about Talking Heads, REM, GNR, Pearl Jam, White Stripes, etc.
There's innovation going on in rock to this day. screw the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Hopefully some contestants think outside the bun, er, box. |

Oh yes. John Mayer helped shape rock n roll.*giggle* This is the time to pull out some Led fucking Zeppelin for once! For the love of God if you're going to do a night based on songs that shaped rock and roll then ya better do some Zep is all I'm sayin'. Word! |

I doubt Jason, Archie, Syesha and/or Brooke will be rocking out too hard. Still think they should go right to the finale or better yet just announce
Cook's win tonight. The show is so bad this season it's doing permanent harm to the franchise.

Zeppelin's music also has a bluesy side to it, so looking over their entire catalog there is stuff that Jason, Syeesha and MAYBE Brooke could do (but
not Archtard b/c I'd have to kill the little fucker for ruining music from the best band EVER).

Wouldn't it be hilarious if David C totally bombed with this theme that even Paula couldn't say anything positive?

There's a huge difference between Kristy/Brooke and David C.
People for whatever reason didn't like Kristy Lee, thought she overstayed her welcome and they just weren't voting for her. It wasn't a matter of not doing well with Country. Brooke fucking sucks and this week's theme could have been original songs by Brooke White and she still probably would have been a trainwreck. She's been on a downward slope for weeks now. It didn't matter at all that this theme was Brooke's bread and butter because everyone else left including Stoner and Archtard are better than Brooke imo. David is actually good and he's managed to do well with fucking Mariah Carey songs. There's no way he's going to bomb any theme on his way to winning the title whether it be Barney's Bedtime Collection or Rock & Roll. |

Disney night would be bullshit, why can't we have Whitney night and let Syesha pwn it? Granted, she sucked with the dozen Whitney songs she's sang, but imagine how terrible everyone else would be. Archie can perform "Queen Of The Night" and solidify what we've all been thinking. *giggle* +1 if you can do Mariah's crazy-ass whistle notes. |

No way in Hell is Zeppelin going to clear any of their catalog. Of any band in history, they are probably the MOST careful with how their music is used in film and television... |

Apparently it'll be songs from this list
http://www.rockhall.com/exhibithighlights/500-songs/ but you know they'll cut it down. Choices I could/would want to see. Cook Duran Duran - Hungry Like the Wolf Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl (rockified) Otis Redding - Try a Little Tenderness (in the style of Nadia Turner) The Who - Baba O'Riley Syesha Aretha Franklin - Chain of Fools Aretha Franklin - Respect CCR- Proud Mary Brooke Al Green - Let's Stay Together Elton John - Bennie and the Jets Don McLean - American Pie Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge over Troubled Water (obviously slowed down on piano) Archuleta Jackson 5 - ABC Jackson 5 - I Want You Back Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge over Troubled Water (to piss off the claymates) The Temptations - My Girl Castro The Lovin' Spoonful - Do You Believe in Magic Don McLean - American Pie The Temptations - My Girl |
