The Loco-Motion - Little EvaActually, the Grand Funk Railroad cover of "The Loco-Motion" would be good for Cookie.
You have to wonder what songs the producers will come up with for this theme -- The show that spawned Chris Daughtry, who I loved during his run on the show, but whose album I just could not buy. Only this show and NARAS (the Grammys) classified "Daughtry" as a "rock" album, while other than a few spins of "It's Not Over" for a few weeks, no rock station in this country has given "Daughtry" a single spin.
I could see them giving Brooke White, had she made it to this week, "Your Song" by Elton John, a straight ballad that some consider rock because its Elton John (on the other hand, a duet of Brooke on the piano playing "Funeral For A Friend" and David Cook singing "Love Lies Bleeding" would be great).
Too bad Chikieze isn't around to sing the Jackie Wilson version of "Higher and Higher", which would blow all of Television City down, or Amanda Overmyer singing "Somebody To Love" by the Jefferson Airplane.
This show would pick "Seasons In The Sun" by Terry Jacks as a rock song for Barfuleta.
