Technically it DID work the first time with Paschal, because if they would've done it correctly he would be the only one who would be able to draw the
rock, and therefore be voted out.

Probst said it was a mistake when they did it (final 4). This same thing happened in Vanuatu. Ami knew she was getting voted out. She asked Eliza to vote
with her and Julie to force a tie. Eliza said she would only do that if she had immunity because she couldn't risk going out. This is why we don't
see ties before the final 4. The only people that will risk it are those that are going to be voted out anyway.

remember in Palau Ian said that he is willing to risk a purple rock to vote Gregg out, and threatening Katie to vote with Tom and Ian (coz Katie would not be
willing to risk a purple rock)
BTW how about the tie breaker method of "counting previous votes" in Australia and Africa? It had some influence on the game too, like Mama Kim showing signs to the other team who had previous votes, Tom trying to throw votes of Clarence to "punish" him, Jerri pretending to be a nice girl (and it works) |

(1) Fire challenge for ties with 4 people.
(2) Revote only with ties of 5 and higher (with an odd number of players left). (3) Revote, then rock-drawing with ties of 6 and higher (with an even number of players left). And part of why no one wants to draw rocks is because when you draw rocks, the people who were tied in the voting do NOT draw rocks. They're safe, along with the person who won immunity. That's just way too much hassle as opposed to just making a majority happen. |

I can only imagine what happens if Richard and Susan get into firemaking challenge!
From production point of view, PROD is brilliant. From entertainment point of view, PROD only robbed some of the game's more memorial moments. Let not forget that Scout was open to tie but Twila refused to go on the board due to fear of PROD even though she was fricking immune!!!!!! Another reason why I'm glad Twila lost. I think it is funny that we haven't had a tie 5-5 for a long time! |

It's been confirmed time and time again. The existence of the purple rock was a primary factor in Jenna L.'s decision to vote out Rupert at the F4 in
ASS (which is dumb of her because that would've been a fire starting challenge, but whatever). Ian also brought up the purple rock when considering voting
Gregg out at F6.
PROD is alive and well. We just haven't seen a tie before F4 since Angie's boot in Palau. |

Also remember that Stephenie changed her vote from Ibrehem to James in the re-vote to avoid the PROD.
To be fair, we haven't had any confirmation from Jeff about the PROD for probably two years or so and several Survivors have mentioned that they received no confirmation of what the tie-breaker would be. I think Tracy even mentioned in an interview that she wanted to force a tie after the switch and assumed she could win a fire challenge with her mad fire skillz. |

Hey dingbats, you're not disqualified from drawing the purple rock if you're in the tie. Paschal wasn't even the one that was in the tie of
being sent home. They all drew rocks & Paschal just happened to have been the one that drew the purple one & went home. Everybody draws a rock
regardless when it comes to that.

Wow. Some of you are really dumb. I can't believe there's people who even still discuss this. I have to say, the comment about the purple rock is one
of the only things Cirie has done to make me not like her this season.
Folks, the purple rock happened one time, 12 SEASONS AGO. It hasn't come back since. And it's not going to. All tiebreakers are now decided by a fire-making challenge, unless they decide to start doing something different. Regardless, the "purple rock" fear is completely unwarranted. That ship sailed a LONG time ago. Purple rock is history. Period. |
