Oh, who didn't see this coming? Of course Amanda had to be high on this list, and I'm sure many of you are shocked that I placed her even this
low...
4. Amanda Kimmel (Survivor: China & Survivor: Micronesia)
My favourite Survivor <3. Of course she will be known for making it to the finals twice in a row and losing twice in a row, but anyone who plays Survivor for 78 consecutive days without receiving a vote that counted, and having a near-perfect voting record has to be doing something right. Both of Amanda's seasons are listed with her here because she was equally as awesome in both seasons. In China, she orchestrated the biggest blindside in Survivor History at that time by eliminating James with both of his idols. Then in Micronesia, after the cursed idol caused Ozzy and Jason to be targetted, Amanda played it perfectly, getting everyone to vote for her, then using the idol to eliminate Alexis. Amanda knew how to play this game; she had strong alliances in China with all Fei Long members, and in Micronesia with Ozzy, Parvati, James and Cirie. After Ozzy was taken out, and her alliance fell apart, she immediately got back into the loop by joining the all female alliance that blindsided Jason and convinced Erik to give up immunity. Amanda needs credit for how she contributed in Erik's elimination because she started Natalie's rage by convincing Erik to send Parvati to exile and bring Amanda on the reward. Oh...I could talk about Amanda forever, but I'll end with saying that Amanda is probably the most well-rounded player ever, achieving 3rd place then 2nd place, she won 8 post-merge challenges between her two seasons (the most for any woman), was the only favourite to return with a perfect voting record and no votes against, and she's the only woman to find and use a hidden immunity idol. Daily Amanda <3. ![]()

Please let there be a tie between Jenna/Ami/Kathy because they all deserve to be here, but it's clear that only one (or maybe none) will be. I'm
assuming that Tina/Cirie will be one and two.

3. Kathy Vavrick - O'Brien (Survivor: Marquesas)
In 16 seasons of Survivor, a Survivor has never changed in one season as much as Kathy did in Marquesas. She began the game as the annoying old hag on Rotu, and an easy early boot had Rotu ever lost a challenge. But towards the end of the game, she was one of the most respected players in the game. Kathy is credited for many new strategies that emerged during Marquesas, making it to the F3 without a solid alliance and being partially responsible for the biggest power shift in Survivor history. It all began at the merge summit, where Boston Rob told Kathy about the dynamics of the Rotu 4, following the tribe switch, telling her that she would be the next to go. Luckily for her, she won the F10 immunity challenge and confronted Zoe about it, where Zoe continued to lie, causing Kathy to target her former tribemates. At the final 9, the infamous 'coconut chop' challenge was introduced and the arrogant Rotu 4 alliance systematically eliminated players from the game in the order that they would be voted out - Sean, Vecepia, Kathy, Paschal and Neleh. However, Sean talked it over with Kathy, and Kathy used her pre-existing bonds with Paschal and Neleh to overthrow the Rotu 4 and eliminate John, propelling herself, Sean, Vecepia, Paschal and Neleh to the final 5. At the final 4, Kathy also had another critical move. After Vecepia won individual immunity, Kathy and Vecepia formed an alliance at tribal council to force a tie, since Kathy would be out anyways and Vecepia would face no consequences. Kathy risked herself, but had little to lose and Paschal was eliminated by the purple rock. However, Vecepia indirectly caused Kathy's elimination at the final 3, so Kathy could not win the title of sole survivor. To this date, Kathy is one of the greatest strategists and she had a powerful alliance in All-Stars too, but because of a series of betrayals, Kathy only made it to the final 8 in her second run. For a 50 year old woman, Kathy played a strong mental, physical and strategic game and very few other survivors have come up with new strategies since then... Clue for the next women: #2 and #1 share much in common... played two seasons, are both mothers, had similar roles in their original seasons. |

Just stumbled across this. Not surprised Amanda is ranked so high for some reason.

I am really surprised with some of your choices. Becky? Stephme? AMBUH???? Really...

Amber has to get credit for winning the game, and Stephenie played one of the most aggressive games of any female Survivor. I chose Becky based on her early
alliance building game, her plotting to get rid of Ozzy and that Yul/Jonathan both said that her game was much more impressive than we saw.
Ones that barely missed the list were Kelly W, Sue, Leann, Cassandra and Natalie... |

I was also considering Helen, but Thailand didn't have the brightest strategists or social players, and she didn't manage to shine through even in that
group. She played a good game, but probably not top 20 worthy.

No Eliza or Heidi? Kelly G as well. I still think Danni shouldn't even be top 10 worthy, =X. (she lucked into Rafe's sympathy and an EXTREMELY
bitter jury. I've never seen such a bitter jury in the other seasons, Guatamela topped it) Amanda should be top 10 for strategy but if it includes jury
performances into factor she's top 20-30ish only.
