Still have mine - never came in but the bottom ones broke the surface. Dentist says I need to have them removed and it is going to take surgery. I'm 43
and he has been saying it for a few years now. I keep putting it off.

I got rid of all four when I was 16 years old. That was the best decision I ever made.

Chelle - my husband is in the same boat. The dentist has been telling him to get 2 of his wisdom teeth out. Last visit the dentist said, "Look. Either you
can schedule it for a Friday when you know you can lay around all weekend, or you're going to be scheduling an emergency surgery when it starts to hurt
you. Your choice." Hubby is planning it for this summer.

Mine are still there, my teeth are fine so far, so they're not coming out because it's a giant scam.

I still have all of mine, and as long as they aren't bothering me or my mouth, they are staying right where they are.

I posted in this thread in may saying I had all four.
I think one needs to come out. It has been bothering me for a week now. I'm scared. |

Mine are still there. Stupid dentists have been trying to pull them since I was fifteen. They might bother me once a year but it's nothing a few ibuprofen
can't fix and it's never lasts very long. Why waste all that money and hassle for no good reason

I only had three, and I had them all removed at once. I wish they would grow back so I could have them removed again. I had a nice little week-long vacation
from reality with all the drugs they had me taking. Also, I lost some weight. They put me under, too. AND I was offered a valium for the night before but
didn't take it.

I had all four pulled the same day when I was 20. The best part is there was a super-hunky, handsome intern learning and observing from my doctor and he spent
the entire time leaning in to see what was happening with his crotch resting on my shoulder. I was on laughing gas at the time, it was quite blissfull...
The recovery however SUCKED. Having to wash out my gum sockets anytime after I ate something. |

I go for an assessment next week. I'm definitely getting them out though, not throwing away 2 1/2 years of braces.

Yall are all 20th century old-school. I got my wisdom teeth out in high school - bled and puked for a day or two - swelled for a week - but it's great
since. Fantastic decision.
