Posts: 323 (05/07/08 11:26 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I usually never post here, but this idea doesn't really fit anywhere else because it has no official spoiler power behind it. It's just an idea I had that might explain some of the editing. Editing seems to portray Parvati as a pseudo-schemer that fans won't want to win, and Cirie as a schemer fans will want to win. However, with both of them getting play as this season's "masterminds", it's hard to determine how their story arcs will play out. I think it's entirely possible that the final TC will result in a tie between Parvati and Cirie. There are 7 jurors and 3 people to potentially vote for. 3 votes go to Parvati, 3 votes go to Cirie, and 1 vote goes to Amanda/Natalie/Erik (doesn't really matter). The questions is, what happens if this is the case? It's never come up before, so we don't really know. Jeff could have the one odd voter re-vote right there, or maybe they'll have to do it live once the tie is revealed. Or maybe something else completely. Regardless, I think this scenario could explain why this season seems to have 2 winners edits going on. Just a thought. Now rip it apart...

I think that Erik has a very good chance to get more then one vote depending on who he is against. If Parvati/Cire vote out Amanda, especially Parvati, and Erik is with them in the finals he could easily win. I think that Amanda would have at least two votes of Ozzy/James. Jeff Probst made a comment in one of the pre-season interviews, I think that is where i heard it from. The couple's alliance would have an effect until the end of the game. Only way that would play out now would be with the jury. Ozzy isn't too happy with Parvati voting him out. So do Ozzy or James have some effect in swaying the jury a certain way. I am not saying I think Amand/Parvati/Cire will win. I do think that Amanda has two for sure votes on the jury. So I think if Amanda is in the final 3, either Parvati or Cire will end up with only one vote. I think Eliza might be a Cire vote. I think in that case either Cire or Parvati would only get one vote, if they are in a final 3 with Amanda. Either Parvati or Cire might get a couple of the fan votes.

I mean, they can't do a fire-making challenge, and they can't make the dissenting juror vote after the show has aired and undoubtedly influenced them in some way. But they can't have two "sole survivors"

Can't remember if that was just something someone said though, or if they had actually heard it from a knowledgeable source.

I think that's the best way to do it, and if it ever comes down to a tie I hope that's how it plays out.

I was thinking this as well, but according to promos, there are 3 more TC's, which leads me to believe it is a F2.

I adore this thread, this idea and once upon a time, I loved Cocoa Puffs. ,3 Great idea. The final 3 should have all had to cast votes, in order to preserve the mystery as to who scored the tie vote. The one who received the single vote, is now called up to break the tie with the vote she cast at the final tribal council. Then it would be fun to poll the Jury and the pre-Jury players at the Reunion, having watched the show as edited, and ask for whom would you vote if you could vote now, having seen the show.
