Probst mentions a candidate for Season 17 whose potential excites him: "A young, quirky (video) gamer!" Not an obvious great-outdoors type. "I
never would have looked twice at him." But Spillman did, and Probst thinks he's got a good shot to be picked.

Can you get more quirky than Erik. The King of Dumb moves. I like how they put Ice Cream Scooper for an Occupation. I have a Toon on World of Warcraft named
Jeffprobst. He's only level one though. I was going to twink him out and PVP with him and do some video caps.

The age limit was changed for Survivor 18, not Survivor 17. The survivor 17 application still had the age limit at 21.

I have been waiting for a young geeky guy to get a chance again. There really hasn't been too many like Ryan, and in the right situation and people maybe he might have lasted longer. |

Ryan wasn't that bad he was in with a bunch of egotistical assholes and the quitter Osten. He didn't give up. He put out the effort but what young kid
can take the intimidation of a 40 year old corporate attorney and a couple of 30 something jocks. He was a little out of place in that season. Lil was the only
one that even paid attention to him.

Sorry but I know a lot of people you would never suspect as hard core video gamers. All ages. Was chatting with a 70 year old man out of Florida that plays
World of Warcraft just the other day. I would not guess that Ryan S. sucked because he made music on a computer he sucked probably because he had a normal life
and doesn't hang around with a bunch of street smart assholes. Half the people in here Shoot edit and add music to their Videos. Which is not typical of
your recruited cast member. Most of the people that get on Survivor I bet can't do that because they spend most of their time in bars or running around
like a headless chicken thinking that it's good to have a "type A" personality.
