Adam mostly did volunteer work for them & one of his jobs was to solicit funding. By the time Adam went into the house that 10K was almost gone. So, yeah, something fishy might have been going on.

In regards to the website....from what I read before, UNIAF created the bb9adam.com site (it's not Adam's site). When they first made it, it was not open yet and they said they would open the site when BB was over. A week or so ago they posted a message on the bb9adam.com site. Basically it was a supposed list of "facts" about Adam: He wasn't working for the organization before he went into the house, he was only helping out for a couple months, he never helped raise money for them, he was just using the charity as a way to advance in the game...etc. They also said that CBS should take the money back or something, and that they wonder if Adam will actually stick to his word of donating the money. This is all just from my memory, but it was basically a bash-fest on Adam. Suddenly, a few days later, all of that is removed and the site now just says that stuff about "God Bless Adam". It's all so strange. I don't care what the winners do with the money once they have it, but Adam was so adamant throughout the show about how he only came on to raise money for autism awareness, and now in interviews he does it's like he's backing out on that whole deal. I hate that 'ish. It all sounds fishy to me.

Posts: 18638 05/13/08 01:51 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	i agree. adam used his 'philanthropy' in the game and to WIN the game. the whole thing smells to high heaven, IMO. adam and james had a couple of conversations about various scams they'd both pulled. i never understood why that stuck to james and not to adam, when adam's were every bit as bad. if this is another one of them, then i'd say it's the sleaziest one of all.

My 5 yr old son picked out a shirt to wear today that someone had given him in a bag of hand-me-downs....it was a Philadelphia Flyers shirt. He doesn't know much about hockey but he liked how the shirt looked. I was afraid to let him wear it for fear I'd be bludgeoned to death at the grocery store. I agree on that- Adam won the game partially with the donation story, which I heard he has now backpeddled on? And why was James raked over the coals so hard while adam wasn't? Not that James didn;t deserve it, mind you. Although the idea of ManBearPig winning is even more repulsive than Adam not donating. I'd rather no one get it then Jen and her fur covered fat racist pig man boyfriend.
