And I'm especially glad it didn't start a week earlier (very likely) because I will be at the beach that weekend for my birthday, and hate to be "tied to the TV" at the beach (though I of course would do so if Survivor were premiering).

They were serious about it then, perhaps ever earlier . Parv had been fighting Jonathan and Eliza for Natalexis's trust since the switch. Of course Eliza didn't see it as a women's alliance, she saw it as Natalexis getting duped by the Couples Alliance.

I read somewhere that Yul and Jonathan were among her faves going into the game. Jonathan also had Kathy, so if Eliza had Jason, that's 4 votes right there. However after Jonathan and Kathy left, there was nothing in the numbers forcing Natalexis to work with Parv rather than Eliza. If Alexis-Nat-Eliza-Jason allign, and throw just one challenge to boot James or Parv, they'd have Erik and Ami to work with at the merge.

Only after they keep him over Ami. Erik wouldn't go against Alexis-Nat-Jason-Eliza-Ami just to force a tie. And if he tries it, Cirie may flip abck to Eliza anyway.
