As far as the NY vs. LA debate, let us not forget that the mighty Penner himself is a native of NYC. It made no sense to me at all when I started liking him, until I saw that in his bio.

I told them in my final interviews in LA (for Vanuatu) that they needed to have a season in China and I think it took a while to execute, but I take full credit for that idea :)

Yeah, well I think (and I'm sure you'll agree) that a transplant who moves to NYC for a couple months and then out to LA and who grew up in the South, does NOT count as a New Yorker. I wish they cast more New Yorkers!!

Ouch, I take it you are not fond of Sugar either?? No, she's fine...she is just NOT from NYC...and all of her antics the whole season were for show and so she would be "America's sweetheart" and she had everyone fooled. I don't know, I have a VERY different perspective on who should go on Survivor. She had applied for a number of other reality tv shows and made it to the finals and almost got on another show. She went on for the exposure. Not for the love of the game or the love of the show. Just...not a New Yorker, that's all...
