There's still no good reason that they didn't do this.) 4) James somehow never figured he needed to play one of his HIIs with only 3 TC's left where he could play them and gets blindsided. 4a) If James had played one of the HIIs, Todd still would have been possibly saved because Erik, for no discernible reason, voted that TC for James instead of Todd. Had James played one of the HIIs, this would have caused a tie between Todd and Peih-Gee, and most likely PG would have left in a revote. 5) Denise the Fake Lunch Lady decides, instead of joining up with Amanda and PG to get rid of Todd, to stay with her alliance of four (in which she knew 100% she was fourth). This strategy was last attempted by Caryn Groedel in Palau, and it worked for Denise about as well as it did for Caryn. 6) Finally, Amanda gives the single worst jury performance in Survivor history and snatches defeat from the jaws of victory, getting less votes than even Courtney! There's at least a dozen non-winners I'd rank ahead of Todd. I'm not sure he'd crack my top 30, let alone my top 20. First off some of your statements are just totally inaccurate. Read the interviews so youll understand what really went down. Remember where shown little compared to how much goes down. James didnt play his idol because he and todd made a deal that at final five he would give todd one of the idols, because of this james didnt think he had anything to worry about since todd was the one with the most power. Also, many of the jury members have siad that they didnt see amandas game until they watched the show and that even if she had a great jury performance they still wouldnt have voted for her. ETA: its impossibel for todd to be a worse player than nonwinners since he won! thats just simple logic. its not even a matter of opinion. There's a huge difference between the argument "The winner played a better game than the third placer" and "The runner up played a better game than the third placer" (exchange runners up and fourth placer as necessary for F3 seasons). I completely agree with the first argument. Vecepia played a better game than Kathy. Jenna played a better game than Rob C. And so on. If you get voted out in third place for being a threat (which many, but not all have been) its your own damn fault. F3 positioning is a very important part of the endgame. Players like Rich & Tina were able to handle it perfectly. Others couldn't. And that's why they lost. On the other hand, I completely disagree with any sentiment that the second argument is always true. After all, we've seen many, many goats in this game. You can't tell me Katie is a better player than Ian. You can't tell me Dreamz & Cassandra were better players than Yauman. Or that Stephenie was a better player than Rafe. We've also seen players who were able to win that last challenge and guarantee themselves a spot in the finals; good for them, but that doesn't make them automatically better than the third placer just because they won a challenge. Amanda certainly wasn't a better player than Cirie. She narrowly beat Cirie. Thats the only reason she got further than Cirie did. What about Lill? Fairplay is an absurdly better player than her. He just doesn't have legs as strong as her. And so on. That's not to say its never true. Kelly > Rudy. Colby > Keith. Clay > Jan.

She made basically the same moves as the eventual winner, Parvati, while not taking any of the flak for it. She played a great social game and she would've won the game had she made it to the end. Amanda made it to the end and wouldn't win against anyone in the final 3, and this has happened to her twice. So basically it shows that Amanda is great at going deep into the game, which pretty much any demographic can do, but she can't win. Cirie has been in the position to win twice and got taken out at the last second by Terry being an idiot and Amanda being taller/having stronger man hands.

No. Even with the quitting, Ian is a better player than Katie. Katie played for second place from day one. She was a horrible, horrible player. Until Dreamz, she was probably the biggest goat of all time. She was a fat elephant who was a huge albatross on Koror's neck, she won nothing individually, and she was extremely selfish arrogant and rude to most of the people there. She made it to second because she was as big a goat as this game had ever seen up to that point. Dreamz and Cassandra made it to the end, yau-man didnt. Because they were goats. The only reason Earl voted out his best bud Yauman was because he knew he'd slaughter the two of them against the jury. And both performed absolutely terrible facing the jury, so much so that I knew it'd be unanimous for Earl. Dreamz played a very poor social game. He played a poor strategic game, being lucky that Cassandra stood up for him so much and carried him so much. He stole a car from Yauman. Cassandra was not as bad a player as Dreamz, but was not outward enough to earn any respect from the jury. Yauman would have given Earl a run for his money and hence was a better player than both of them. The goal isnt to make strategical moves and hopefully get to the end, the goal is to make it to the end and recieve the majority of votes! The goal is to get to the end AND receive the majority of votes. You're seemingly forgetting that last part. Getting to F2 does not necessarily indicate that the player was a better player than the one(s) who got voted out shortly before F2. Getting to F2 AND getting a majority of the jury votes does indicate that. Dreamz and Cassandra made it to the end, yau didnt, so how can you see he is a better player than them? See above. Why should Aras care about taking her and not just vote with Daniele in final four? Cirie lost because there was nowhere else to go on the game board. It was a crap shot- and if Aras hadn't won immunity, Daniele would be voting him out (?!!) Parvati and Amanda were equally under the impression it was a final three and played their game accordingly -and both acknowledged that Cirie had a way with words and was hypnotic - Parvati says to the EW guy that Cirie will convince you your blue shirt is orange. Most likely if she knew it was a final two, she would have made a different gameplan. She might be my number one best player. I just think winners being the best players by default is dumb. Too many variables.

Many found courtney to be hilarious so its no suprise that she did better than amanda since social politics are a very important part of the game. Why isnt someone that rides coat-tails and wins just as good of a player than someone that makes moves? I guess my point is that you dont have to make moves to win or to be a deserving winner. THe goal of the game is to win, the goal of the game is NOT to make great moves and win. However you play is fine as long as it gets you the win.

This is another example of something that really isnt a matter of opinion, its a fact! You did. You're acting like getting to F2 and losing is this great accomplishment that makes the runner up far better than the third placer. That's not the case. YES they are better players, the fact they placed further is enough reason for them to be considered better players! Wrong. I mean stratedgy-wise. Meaning that one stratedgy isnt neccessarily better than another since there are several stratedgies that can get you the win. The fact that you call me an idiot shows your immaturity so now i know not to bother getting into a discussion with you. In addition to that the fact that you cant understand simply logic (aka. getting to the end makes you a better player than someone that didnt) makes it pointless to discuss this topic with you. I find it hilarious taht you post that is a fact when the fact is the exact opposite. Placement does indicate who the better player was. Let me ask you this though so I can see just how illogical of a thinker you are: If someone rides coat-tails makes it to the end and wins are they a worse player than someone that made moves and made it to the end and won? That's not your argument though. Your argument is simply that the runner up is better than the third placer, and so on, solely due to the fact that they placed one spot higher than them overall in the rankings. could see her being on a worst list, but only if the best list includes only the winners. shes the best player next to the winners. Cirie, Rafe, Kathy, Rob C, Fairplay, etc... all were better players than Amanda. RAMONE!!!!!!!!!!! HAS THIS BOZO EVEN WATCHED SURVIVOR!?!?!
