They probably didnt show that scene because there would be no way to make sandra look good. she would have come off as a horrible person and people wouldnt
have wanted her to win. I just cant imagine lil sitting down on the beach, having sand kicked on her and not cussing them out or at the very least getting up
and walking away. To sit there and let people kick sand on you is ridiculous!

It sucks that they cant show the whole picture.If the dumb casual viewers would realize that Survivor isn't a family friendly sporting event, then we'd
really get somewhere

But they aren't supposed to show the whole picture. It's not a documentary, it's Survivor. It's their job to make a story out of the raw
footage. Sandra throwing sand on Lill (while funny) doesn't fit into the story.

Survivor is made to be a story out of convience,due to its nature(less than an hour a week,on a broadcast network that can't show everything).Sometimes the
"story" can be interesting, but I think most people would rather have the raw footage, or better yet, an expanded Survivor. I'd love 3 hr
episodes,an hour for every day they're there

Christa vs Darrah was the big Sucks rivalry. As for preseason it was like Tracy getting picked on preseason and Alexis getting loved becease spoilers said
she'd go far.
Remember when Christa said all Darrah talked about was chocolate chip cookies and getting a boob job - and Darraholics said she was just bitter because Darrah won.

I remember christa was on a radio show and she was telling the host that after rupert got blindsided she and sandra took it out on lill and were kicking lill with sand while calling her a mother-effer. She said taht lill just sat there and took it. I dont know if lill or any of the other contestants confirmed this to be true?!?! Anyone know? If this is true, it's not the first time they've left out footage of that nature. Apparently, S3's Tom went absolutely ballistic on Brandon and Kim P. after they tried to get him voted out. S5's Stephanie did the same to Jake, Ken, Shii-Ann, Penny and Erin after they blindsided Jed (which secured her as the next boot over Robb). |

I'd love 3 hr episodes,an hour for every day they're there People would get real sick of the raw footage very quickly when they realize that it isn't 24 straight hours of strategizing and interesting conversations all day. Most of the day I'm sure is spent doing very boring things that few viewers would care to see. An expanded Survivor BB style however would be terrific. An episode with footage from TC through the reward challenge, reward through immunity challenge, and one dedicated to TC would be terrific. Never gonna happen though unless we get another, much worse writer's strike! :P |
