Oh, and there are trains. Just not passenger trains. Amtrack does not go from NY to Houston. The oil tanker cars do. Poor people take greyhounds. |

Amtrak goes through Houston - we have the world's most pitiful train station that has all of two employees
We had a friend who bought one of the rail passes and was travelling the country on it come to visit us - picking him up in the middle of the night when there were no employees there and only two other people waiting to meet someone was a tad bit scary, especially given where the station is located. |
