Pilot Episode :: The Meeting

ANGELO: I'd be stupid to trust anyone here. If a mission is to try and trust the others...we'd fail...miserably.

EDDIE: I hate this game! I hate these people! I cannot stand being here and it's only the first week! I can't handle this!

HOLLY: People would say I'm really paranoid and I over analyze everything and everyone. So, (smiles) doesn't that make me perfect for this game?

KAITLYN: Before I entered this game I thought being a single mother was exhausting and a full time job, but motherhood does not compare to being a player in this game.

LATIVIA: My strategy is to make sure that evury'one always got me on they mind! I'm ain't not the mol- so during that quiz and shit, if theys a-puttin' me-a down- that makes me-a one step closer to winning that cash money, baby!

MICHELLE: Who is the mole? Well, it's not me- I'd be way to much of an obvious suspect.

NIKON: I'd describe myself as private and mysterious at all times. These people are going to have a pretty rough ride while I'm around- because I won't let anyone breach my walls.

PERCY: I'm a big fan of the show. I feel that being a fan, you get the most leeway because you have a sense of how the game works and you know what clues to look for. I think that no one is going to be able to outwit the biggest fan of the game.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Eight people- six weeks- one winner walking away with up to one hundred thousand dollars. However, within this group of eight- one of them is playing for the producers to sabotage missions as well as deceive and sabotage their fellow contestants. That person is, the mole. The contestant who does the best job at tracking down the mole will eventually walk away with the most amount of money consumed. Can you figure out who is the mole amongst this group of eight? Now in the shows past, we've had celebrities and strangers put to the test, but now- we have brought a group of four individuals who have been dying to get onto the show- as well as a little surprise for them. Let's meet our cast of....originals.

(The camera cuts to four of the contestants sitting in brown chairs in a room. Michelle is shown trying to rub on Eddie's shoulders as he uncomfortably takes her hands off of him.)

KATHY GRIFFIN: Our first is a fifty-two year-old, self-proclaimed cougar and mother of three: Michelle Howard.

Michelle Howard :: 53 :: Married Mother :: Wife of a Salon and Spa Owner

MICHELLE: Oh, I'm extremely excited to be here. It's my time to shine and flirt with all the buff, young men that I could nurture and mother! (Cut to a later part of her interview) Oh, yeah, I do not work. There isn't a reason for me to work. My husband co-owns a hair salon that's pretty pricey and does good business. I just hang out there most of the time, talking to the stylists, getting all the gossip. I haven't worked since my twenties. Thank God for men! (Laughs)

KATHY GRIFFIN: Next, we came across a twenty-eight year-old, beefy personal trainer and aspiring actor, Eddie Diamond.

Eddie Diamond :: 28 :: Divorced Father :: Personal Trainer

EDDIE: I'm only twenty-eight years old and I've had a lot of challenges in my life. I've dealt with a divorce, loosing custody of my six-year-old daughter, and recently my apartment complex was burned to the ground. I deserve to be in this game, because I deserve to win the money at the end and get my life back on path.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Next, we met a Latino Salsa dancer, Angelo Arrozal, at a casting call in Miami, Florida.

Angelo Arrozal :: 23 :: In a Relationship :: Dancing Instructor

ANGELO: Probably, I'll end up being the smartest person in the game. From the beginning I'm not going to be able to play this under-the-radar, sneaky type of games other people can play; just because I'm going to be a suspect on day one. When I end up winning this game, I'm going to rub it in everyone's faces.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Finally, we come across professional bachelor, Percy Jones.

Percy Jones :: 47 :: Single :: Computer Consultant

PERCY: I'm honored to be here right now. I know that I'm going to do my best to give the audience a good show, but still show my intelligence and dominate in this game. I am suspicious of every player in this game. In my eyes, we're all trying to pretend like we're the mole. It's a matter of seeing through someone else's shit and winning this entire game.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Little do these unsuspecting four know, a twist has arrived for them on the very first day- within the five few moments of them being introduced to each other. Our eight players will be strangers no longer.

(Host, Kathy Griffin, clicks into a dimmed room where the four original contestants sit briefly getting to know the other.)

MICHELLE: (In the middle of laughing with Angelo) Well, I'm never sharing my diary with you then!

ANGELO: (Laughing) What can I say- I just always wanted to keep up on who my sister had a crush on!

Eddie Confessional: I personally can't stand any of the original three. They were all annoying and not the type of people I want to surround myself around.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Lady, gentlemen- hello.

MICHELLE: Hi, Kathy! (The camera cuts to Angelo smiling)

Angelo Confessional: Kathy Griffin! Yes! Everyone was excited to see Kathy as the host. She's hilarious, under-paid, and a former contestant. She's just, awesome.

KATHY GRIFFIN: I proudly welcome the four of you to, my favorite game, The Mole. As you already know, you all share one common goal. (Michelle is caught giving an evil glare to Eddie) That goal is for you to point out the most devious (Percy is shown smiling) player of the game and label them the mole in order for you to win the prize money (Angelo can now be seen throwing his hands up in the air , praising the thought of money) at the end. This isn't a game where there will be nominations, no torches will be snuffed, and there won't even be a detour or two. You will be contained in this beautiful mansion in Washington D.C. for the next six weeks (Eddie is shown mouthing 'Six weeks?') trying to guess the identity of the mole. Eddie- I caught you mouthing something- what was that?

EDDIE: There's another twist isn't there.

KATHY GRIFFIN: What on Earth would ever lead you to believe that?

EDDIE: Hmm...the six weeks and four people? (The four originals laugh amongst themselves.)

KATHY GRIFFIN: If you could please now watch the television screen behind me to meet the other four players, that our little spies have recruited upon on behalf. Come on- there's always some crazy twist to any reality television program. (A television screen behind Kathy turns on and an image of Holly Howard appears. Michelle gasps and puts her hands onto her face in complete shock.) Look familiar Michelle?

MICHELLE: (Practically in t.ears) What are you guys doing to me?

PERCY: Who is that?

MICHELLE: My daughter.

PERCY: (Laughing) I did beg the owner of the company I work for to fire her, and eventually it happened. She isn't a huge part of my world, clearly I forgot about Lativia, so I didn't set her up for a phone call. It's apparent that she was rude to a customer and is just looking to blame someone for a mistake that was made. She's just immature and childish.

EDDIE: She's going to be fun to sleep with.

MICHELLE: What!

EDDIE: Like in the same room! (Laughs) Not like that! (Laughs harder)

KATHY GRIFFIN: (Talking to Angelo who is still standing up next to a pillar in the corner of the room) You alright over there? (Angelo remains silent) Anyway, as some of you laugh, stay silent, cry, and even throw a tantrum about the other four players- it's time for you all to meet. Remember, they do not know that you are in this game. Angelo, please take a seat next to Michelle. (Angelo lingers towards the chairs and sits down next to Michelle. He looks down the row of chairs and sees Michelle looking straight forward, Eddie looking down, and Percy looking directly at himself giving an evil stare) Percy, Eddie, Michelle, and Angelo- the game begins now. (Shouting) Lativia! Get in here!

PERCY: Here it goes! (Lativia stumbles in the room and hugs Kathy Griffin)

KATHY GRIFFIN: Hello there darling.

LATIVIA: Hey gurl! Oh my Gah- who is...ohh hell no! Mr. Jones- why hello.

PERCY: (Smiles) How you doin'?

LATIVIA: Unemployed.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Lativia, can you please take a seat next to the gentleman in the white shirt towards the right.

LATIVIA: Alright, alright. I'm Lativia ya'll.

MICHELLE: (Reaching over Angelo to shake Lativia's hand) Hi, I'm Michelle, pleased to meet you sweetheart.

LATIVIA: (Gives Michelle a sour look and sits on her hands) You've gotta be jokin' my ass. We got a damn plus-sized Stepford wife in this bitch. (Michelle frowns, but smiles and folds her hands on her lap.)

Lativia Confessional: I-a don't want to shake the hand of a cougar- that shit contagious.

Michelle Confessional: My respect for Lativia at this point is at a solid zero. I'd prefer her being the first victim. A week of this woman is too much to deal with.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Kaitlyn, walk on in. (Kaitlyn smiles into the room. She spots Eddie waving to her and her smile quickly turns into a jaw-dropping glance.)

KAITLYN: You guys really know how to turn it around. (Laughs) Hi, Eddie.

LATIVIA: Do you know someone too?

KAITLYN: Yeah.

LATIVIA: Who!

KAITLYN: My ex-husband.

LATIVIA: Oh my God! Percy, we ain't got nuttin' on that shit.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Kaitlyn, please take a seat next to Percy on the left.

KAITLYN: Okay.

Kaitlyn Confessional: At that moment I couldn't even pretend to have a smile on my face, not at all. I was in complete shock- I didn't expect him here. And even knowing that he could be the mole is even worse, because that way I'm going to have to spend six weeks with the man! (Wiping a tear from her left eye) I can't take that again.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Let's unite everyone in here. Holly! Nikon! Get in here! (Holly and Nikon run into the room holding hands and laughing. Holly sees her mother with her head held down and stops dead in her tracks.)

HOLLY: (Whispering in Nikon's ear) That's my mom! (At that moment Nikon spots Angelo staring directly at him.) Nikon, (Holly says still whispering) do you know anybody?


NIKON: Wow.

Holly Confessional: So I'm tramping into this room with my new best friend, Nikon, and I'm like ohmygosh this is going to be the greatest experience of my life. And then little do I know, I'm going to be playing this game with my mother. Great- okay, like I understand that everyone has like an enemy, but at least they can be themselves around them. I feel like I have to be on my best behavior, and that's seriously, really not fair.

Michelle Confessional: To be honest, nope, I don't think this experience will change my daughter's opinion of me. She's a very bitter person so she won't ever forgive me for what happened between us.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Holly, recognize anybody?

HOLLY: My mother of course.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Nikon?

NIKON: Nope, don't know anybody. (Laughs) Anyone that means anything to me anyway.

KATHY GRIFFIN: Nikon, if you can take a seat next to Kaitlyn for me. Holly, can you please sit next to Lativia.

Nikon Confessional: I see Angelo and I'm like- damn does he look great. Still the beautiful guy I once knew. (Looks down) Maybe this whole entire game could be the thing that possibly brings us back together.

KATHY GRIFFIN: (Looks over at the eight players sitting in chairs. The camera zooms on them from left to right, starting with Nikon, Kaitlyn, Percy, Eddie, Michelle, Angelo, Lativia, then Holly) It's no surprise that each of you know somebody here. We have two who were previous married, two former co-workers, ex-boyfriends, and mother and daughter who haven't spoken in quite sometime. Not only will you be forced to play the game with your enemy as long as you both stay in the game, but as the old saying goes "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer," you will be sharing a full-sized bed with your enemy.

Angelo Confessional: I swear to God! This is too many low blows in one morning. I'm not used to drama, I cannot take this much longer. Not only do I have to play in this game with Nikon, but I have to sleep in the same bed with him. If he's the mole- I'll probably need a paramedic because I'm going to have a heart attack.

Kaitlyn Confessional: Eddie is a sleep-farter, and talker, and walker! I was definitely not excited to find out I had to sleep in the same bed with him.

Lativia Confessional: I think I'm an insomniac or something because I just don't sleep at night. So, if we's locked up in our room and all, Percy be-a goin' balls to the wall crazy cause Imma be up screamin' and dancin' and rockin' my shit!

LATIVIA: You know what, Michelle, I'm sick of you thinkin' you the boss. Bitch, I ain't voting for Angelo- I nominate yo' ass to be sent in duh, duh uhh, whatever the hell we are sendin' you into.

MICHELLE: We aren't sending anyone in anywhere, Lativia.

LATIVIA: Well, I-a don't care. I'm writing yo' name down on that shit.

MICHELLE: What have I ever done to you?

LATIVIA: I just don't like yo' ass. She-a be a beast, everyone, she-a cougar and I don't like that shit. My brother got done screwed over by a cougar, she-a taked the little amount of bread he had. I-a ain't puttin' up with-

MICHELLE: (Interrupting Lativia) Listen-

LATIVIA: (Screaming) With no old ass, fake ass, skanky ass bitch runnin' around in a damn halter top when her ass should be walkin' around in a moo-moo. Bitch, you ain't no Lane Bryant model or shit.

MICHELLE: You don't even know me, Lativia. I'm a very nice person.

LATIVIA: I know yo' daughter hates your ass.

MICHELLE: Our relationship has nothing to do with you.

LATIVIA: I'm here with you, so it's going to play a factor.

MICHELLE: You not agreeing is very mole-ish to me, young lady.

LATIVIA: You know what bitch! I want yo' fake ass gone!

MICHELLE: You look like a real ass right now, Lativia. I'm sure you're family is going to be very proud.

LATIVIA: They-a be all proud when I get your' ass gone. (Lativia steps up and adjusts her skirt. She begins to walk into the kitchen) And you look like a tranny, too.

Lativia Confessional: I'a will always think that woman is a male unless I physically can see a vagina on her. And if she got a vagina I wouldn't doubt it's torn, one lip is bigger than the other, and got some fucking carvings in it from the settlers in the 1800's. I'm about to kick her and see what she do. She-a gotta' be a hermaphrodite or some shit.

(The camera turns to Angelo and Nikon sitting in a hallway upstairs. Angelo is crying.)

ANGELO: It's not that I didn't want you here- I just didn't want you to openly say who I am to you. I have just came out to my family on national television.

NIKON: I had no idea you were going to be here. You weren't even weighing on my mind during those interviews.

ANGELO: You know how I am. You know how I like my privacy. I can't handle everyone knowing- especially strangers. (Angelo leans in to hug Nikon)

NIKON: Ang- it's not right for you to do that to me, please.

ANGELO: I need your strength again to get through this. (Angelo throws himself into Nikon's arms and begins to cry on his shoulder)

NIKON: I missed you so much, Angelo.

ANGELO: Meeting up with you here is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Angelo Confessional: Right now I am really pissed off, but I still know I'm playing the game. If I have to toy with Nikon's emotions, I'm willing to do that. There is no reason for him to know I'm in love with someone else.

Nikon Confessional: This is going to be the night we fall back in love. I have so much faith in him at this point that nothing is going to break the love and trust I have for him. He's my one, my everything.

(The camera cuts back to the living room where Eddie, Michelle, Kaitlyn, Holly, and Percy are sitting. Trying to come up with a decision)

PERCY: What about Lativia being nulled?

EDDIE: I wouldn't go for that, she's too up-front, like Angelo, so it's better for her to be competing at her best.

MICHELLE: I still say Angelo.

KAITLYN: Okay, what is it that you don't understand? Nikon is going to be a threat in this game. He's a huge question mark. He tells us horrible things about Angelo, yet who is the first person to go and run to his aid? Nikon! We cannot trust someone like that.

EDDIE: I'm going to have to agree with Kait. I want Nikon to be nulled.

PERCY: My goal is to just get money in that pot. As long as it isn't the five of us there shouldn't be a problem.

MICHELLE: Angelo and Lativia won't vote for Nikon.

KAITLYN: Angelo doesn't care about Nikon, it's so obvious. Lativia just wants to be dramatic and get her screen time, she'll come around. She's one of the people who seem to need the money the most.

PERCY: Okay, so we all are agreeing on Nikon?

MICHELLE: I'm still a little worried.

HOLLY: Personally, I like seriously don't see why it should be him. Kaitlyn, you keep on talking about threats and relationships, well, you, like seriously seem to be becoming a threat or whatever now. You're like, bossy.

KAITLYN: Holly, get over yourself. I'm trying to give all of us an advantage in this game. I understand that you're close with him, but it's still the first day. Let's be realistic people- Angelo has been an emotional basket case and Nikon has been likable and mysterious. I'm more worried about Nikon walking away with the money rather than Angelo.

PERCY: I say Nikon gets nulled.

KAITLYN: Okay, that's three of us.

EDDIE: We only have thirty minutes left in this.

PERCY: And that's a lot of money, ladies.

Holly Confessional: Yeah it's totally uncomfortable when you're sitting there and it's three people who want one thing staring at you. I understand that like, I've only been friends with him for like an hour, but like, seriously he doesn't deserve to be nulled from any exemptions for the entire game. He's a good person. But, I'm like not here for friends, I'm here for the money...so I voted him in.

HOLLY: Fine, I vote Nikon.

PERCY: Michelle?

MICHELLE: Yeah.

PERCY: Alright, so that's five for Nikon, one for Michelle, one for Angelo...and one...fill-in the blank.

Eddie Confessional: Out of everyone I felt that I needed to be the one to form a coalition with Lativia because I'm the most normal out of any of us and probably the only one who Lativia would be cool with.

(Eddie approaches Lativia in the kitchen while she stands near the stove drinking a glass of red wine.)

EDDIE: (Searching throughout the fridge. He pulls out a tray of various cheeses and begins eating them) You want any?

LATIVIA: I already pocketed some. They tryna vote me in?

Eddie Confessional: Why not fuel the fire between Lativia and Michelle? It doesn't hurt me at all.

EDDIE: Michelle kept trying, but Kaitlyn and myself wouldn't let her.

LATIVIA: Who do you want me to vote then?

EDDIE: Well...

LATIVIA: Don't well it, (Lativia finishes her second glass of wine and begins to pour another) ...just say it, fool.

EDDIE: Are you opposed to voting Nikon?

LATIVIA: Nobody wants that bitch?

EDDIE: It's pointless. She's going to be horrible at challenges anyway. She's nothing but trash. That bitch won't be able to solve a simple math problem.

LATIVIA: (Laughing) I feel yah.

EDDIE: Nikon is going to be a major player in this game. We want to cut him short a little early. You voting him would help us out a lot.

LATIVIA: I do it. I do it.

Lativia Confessional: I would not be shocked if it turns out Eddie is the mole. He's a good mole if he is one. Shit, he calmed me down. And Imma convict!

(The eight gather back into the living room and notice that they only have three minutes left to decide to either null another player or fail the mission.)

HOLLY: (In the midst of silence) Nikon six of us voted for you to be nulled.

NIKON: I knew it was going to turn around on me eventually.

LATIVIA: Don't ask me how it happened.

NIKON: Angelo- please do not vote me in.

PERCY: We have two minutes to reach our decision. Angelo, do you want the fifty-thousand dollars or not?

ANGELO: Obviously I want the money...

NIKON: Angelo! (Holly is shown throwing her hands onto her face in grief)

PERCY: It's either we vote him (Nikon) in or we loose the mission.

LATIVIA: If my ass can come to a conclusion for that amount of money you can, too.

NIKON: He won't though. Angelo, please don't screw me over this early.

LATIVIA: Why would he want to protect you? You just screwed his ass over earlier. We all know he's gay now. (Eddie is seen smiling)

PERCY: We need an answer Angelo...we have less than a minute.

ANGELO: I don't know.

PERCY: Angelo!

LATIVIA: Yall' thought I was nuts before this- if we loose this mission Imma put all yall' on blast, for real.

NIKON: Angelo, seriously don't.

HOLLY: You don't need exemptions to win the game, Nikon.

NIKON: Holly...please just be quiet.

PERCY: Angelo, what's the answer?

ANGELO: (Looking at the ticking clock with fifteen seconds left) Uhhh...umm...I....
