So i just watched this weeks episode and wow did it suck. Billy Ray has got to be the worst host ever. He can't say anything that's not on the
teleprompter. And it's so weird when he's talking to the contestants but looking straight ahead. He's just unwatchable.
The only person on this show that could possibly have a career is Ashlee. No chance in hell for the rest of them. |

I finally caught up with this week's epi.......What a load of crap trainwreck. Every one of last year's contestants could sing better than every one
of this years....except the hot chunky girl.
John Rich is such a loser. Big and Rich had one top ten hit. And how can Snaggletooth judge country music???? Was she the judge that told one singer he should be more country....like Keith Urban......aaaaaghhhh.... |

The feeling im getting, is that they aren't picking their own songs. None of them ever seem to know their songs going into the mentoring and the judges are
always asking what song they get. Plus every choice of pop week is the most stereotypical for the contest, Gabe with Livin La Vida loca, Ashlee with Britney
Spears.
This show is quickly becoming unwatchable. |

Even in the context of earlier bad episodes, this week's pop-goes-country was a hot.tranny.mess. Coffey's performance was the worst thing I've ever
been subjected to on television! How could the audience cheer that?!

I totally agree about Coffey. I don't get why he's still there. He needs to stop with the vibrato. He sounds like a goat.

I agree. I don't know why I keep watching this either. I keep saying I'm done but I keep coming back. Why oh why do I keep doing this to myself? I
guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.
Anyways I don't know why they had them sing 2 songs. The second song was like 15 seconds long. What was even the point. And really these singers are not good. I still can't believe this was the best talent they could find. The only high point was Blake Shelton. I like that song and he's hot. Besides that it was another 2 hours of my life I can't get back. |

You can say that about just about anybody except for "Fat Mama" and maybe Ashlee and Gabe. I personally can't see how those horrible teenage girls are still in it or even made it on the show. |

Pearl Heart may not be the worst, but they are (to me at least) the most uninspiring. Like I can see somebody voting for Coffey because of his story (single
dad) or his appearance or even his race. The fact that he sucks doesn't mean that people couldn't find something else to like about him. I can see
somebody voting for Shawn because she's got a cool vibe. I can see them voting for Tommy because of his military service. I can see them voting for Ashlee
because they think she's hot. What POSSIBLE reason is there to vote for that trio? They don't sing well, they don't perform well, they have no
personality, they're not good-looking (at least the lead girl is pretty fug), they have no "story" to speak of... They are a reality TV anomaly
to me. They should have been the first fodder elimination given how little they have going for them...

A funny thing was shown on our local news yesterday.
They'd been doing weekly updates on Justin's appearance on the show & bragging about him being a local boy. Well, he's back home now & he went to a kid's day camp to perform. The kids (all 15 of them  ) had made big posters to hold up while he sang.
There they were, on the floor of a gymnasium, holding their signs up. Justin was in a chair just a strummin & a singin in off-key abandon. The kids had totally blank looks on their faces & obviously were not enjoying it at all. When he stopped they all walked away dragging their posters like Linus with his blankie. I laughed till I choked. |

^^^ LOL!!! That is hilarious! Justin was hot (which is probably why he was cast and how he made it past week 1), but man was he BAD!!! He should never make
it big...he is a TERRIBLE singer!!!
I did love how they called some of them out last night for not being country. Seems like a few of them just want to be famous and could care less if it is Nashville Star or not...American Idol said no, but this crap fest was willing to take them and now they think they have talent... |

I happened to stumble across this video purely by accident today, and thought I'd post it. BTW, I've only seen bits and pieces of this show, but I recognized the name. Oh, and if this has already been posted,�sorry, I didn't search. Oh, and LOL at "Godtube". I had no idea that existed. �� |

I really gotta find something to do on Monday nights, instead of watch this show. From the continued child whoring by BRC to the last contestant, this is just
a car wreck. There was a time when I actually thought higher of this show than American Idol! Of course, it wasn't all goobered up on NBC, either.
The only one I can handle winning is the big momma of 5 boys (Stop Having Unprotected Sex Now!) I understand that the hot 'lil blonde is, well, a hot 'lil blonde, but her voice is nothin' to write home about that's for sure. And when are these "mentors" gonna get some of those Parkinsons-esque vibrattos under control? Country roads, indeed. |
