Popularity Poll Results | ||
|
Here are the results for the Pre-Show Popularity Poll! Below is a table with the exact ratings in case they are unclear in the chart. I found it interesting that the Top 7 were all women. Tracy lead the poll from the start, with over half of her ratings a perfect ten, and the majority of the rest 8s or 9s. I think this may have to do with her being fresh in our minds, but I can see why she's so popular. I expect some ratings to change after tomorrow, when the votes will be based off of the fanfic and less off the actual show.

Episode 1: Redemption
<An aerial view of a large fishing boat is shown. The camera then zooms in on Jeff Probst who is standing near the front.> Jeff Probst: I'm standing here on board a ship in the middle of the Polynesian islands, set in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. On deck are sixteen former survivors who are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime, for the second time. Previously, these contestants were voted out during the early stages of the game. But now they're back and ready for a shot at redemption. <The camera scrolls through various shots of the survivors.> Jeff Probst: From Survivor: Vanuatu, Brook Geraghty. <Brook is shown looking out into the water.> Angie Jakusz, Survivor: Palau. <Angie is shown.> Brian Corridan, Survivor: Guatemala. <A view of Brian is shown.> From Survivor: Exile Island, Misty Giles. <Misty is shown pulling her hair back and out of her face.> Tina Scheer, Survivor: Exile Island. <Tina is shown with a nervous look on her face.> From Survivor: Cook Islands, Cao Boi Bui. <A close-up view of Cao Boi is shown.> Erica Durousseau, Survivor: Fiji. <Erica is shown with an angry expression on her face.> Dave Cruser, Survivor: China. <Dave is shown with a smirk on his face.> Wanda Shirks from Survivor: Palau. <Wanda is shown smiling and looking in the water.> From Survivor: China, Aaron Reisberger. <Aaron is shown sitting next to Brook.> Jeff Wilson from Survivor: Palau. <Jeff is shown with his hands behind is head, resting in a relaxed position.> Leslie Nease, Survivor: China. <Leslie is shown biting down on her lower lip.> Anthony Robinson, Survivor: Fiji. <Anthony is shown observing the other contestants.> James Miller from Survivor: Palau. <James is shown scratching his head.> From Survivor: China, Ashley Massaro. <Ashley is shown with her hands on her hips, looking at everyone else> And from Survivor: Micronesia, Tracy Hughes-Wolf. <Tracy is shown looking in the opposite direction of the camera before turning to look off the side of the boat. The camera then switches to a shot of Jeff Probst.> Jeff Probst: They've been given a unique opportunity: a second chance at the game. The question is what will they do with it? Will they revert to old ways and make the same mistakes, or have they learned from the past to be successful this time? One thing is for sure. They must learn to adapt or be voted out of the tribe. In the end, only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize. <Fast-tempo music begins to play as the camera scrolls around the boat and returns to Jeff again.> Jeff Probst: Thirty-nine days, 16 former castaways, <The camera scrolls through the sixteen survivors.> one Survivor.
<The survivors are now unloading off the boat on shore. They line up on the beach and are greeted by Jeff Probst.> Jeff Probst: Welcome everyone to Survivor: Polynesia, Second Chances. Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: When Jeff said "Welcome to Survivor: Second Chances", it was like déjà vu for me. I mean, it wasn't too long ago that he said "Welcome to Survivor: China". But, it's great to be back, because I definitely feel like I deserve a second shot at this. Jeff Probst: That is exactly what this season is about. It's a second chance at a game that most of you didn't do well in. Whether it was just missing the merge, or not even making it to the first Tribal Council, it's now your chance to play this game again, and play it better than you did last time. Wanda - CONFESSIONAL: I am just thrilled to be here. Last time I didn't even get a chance to play the game. I was voted out before the game really started, and I was devastated. I can't wait to get started and show the world what Wanda really can do. Jeff Probst: If you want to win, you're going to have to come up with a different way to play, or you won't be successful. This game will not be easy, because I guarantee everyone around you is going to do everything they can to win. I hope you have what it takes, and if not, you could end up in the same position as last time. This could be one of our most competitive seasons yet, so you better be ready. Misty - CONFESSIONAL: I am totally ready for this. I have a second chance at this game, and there's no way I'm going to waste it. I'm going to do absolutely everything I can to make sure that I win. I didn't come here to lose again. Jeff Probst: We've got one final order of business to take care of…tribes. Behind me are two colored flags <a purple flag is on Jeff's right, while a yellow flag stands on his left>. When I call your name, I'll hand you a buff and you'll then stand near your tribal flag. First up, take a spot on the purple tribe…Jeff. <Jeff walks up toward Jeff and receives a purple buff, then stands by the purple flag.> Jeff Probst: First up for the yellow tribe…Brook. <Brook receives a buff and moves to the yellow flag.> Jeff Probst: Who will be joining Jeff on the purple tribe? Ashley, come grab a purple buff. <Ashley receives a buff and joins Jeff.> Ashley: How's it going? Jeff: I'm doing good. Jeff Probst: Erica, join Brook on the yellow tribe. Erica: Okay. <Erica moves over to Brook and they high-five each other.> Jeff Probst: Crazy Dave… Dave: Jeff? Dave - CONFESSIONAL: All I was thinking about was "please not purple, please not Ashley, please not Ashley!" Jeff Probst: Go join Jeff and Ashley on the purple tribe. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> [censored]. Again? You're kidding me right? <sarcastically> This is gonna be great! Dave: Hello! Jeff Probst: Let's get to the next member of the yellow tribe. Aaron, take a spot with Brook and Erica. <Aaron takes a yellow buff and stands with his tribe.> Jeff Probst: Wanda…you're a member of the purple tribe. Wanda: Oh, thank you Jeff! <Jeff hands Wanda a purple buff.> Jeff Probst: No bad news this time. Wanda: That's great! <Wanda joins the purple tribe and receives a hug from Dave.> Jeff Probst: Next member of the yellow tribe…Leslie. <Leslie smiles and joins Brook, Erica, and Aaron.> Jeff Probst: Brian, take a spot on the purple tribe. <Brian receives a purple buff and joins his tribe.> Brian: Let's rock it, guys. Jeff Probst: James, come on down and join the yellow tribe. James: Alrlght! James - CONFESSIONAL: I'm looking at our tribe going, "Man, this tribe is stacked!" But then I thought "Uh oh, last time I did that, we got our tails whooped." I don't want that to happen to us again. We have to win some immunities this time. <James puts his buff on and stands with the rest of his tribe.> Jeff Probst: One more member of the purple tribe: Tracy. <Tracy smiles and joins her tribe.> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: I'm the newest survivor here. Micronesia just finished and now I'm back. I feel a little nervous because I don't know these people very well, but I'm hoping I can make the best of it. Jeff Probst: Angie, take a spot on the yellow tribe. <Angie receives a buff and moves to the yellow tribe.> Angie - CONFESSIONAL: I'll admit, I was a little nervous to come back. Last time, I had kind of a crappy experience with losing challenge after challenge. It wasn't fun to keep losing, and that was really tough to go through. I don't think I can suffer another huge loss like that. Jeff Probst: Next member of the purple team is…Anthony. Go join your new tribe. <Anthony puts his buff around his wrist and takes a spot with the purple tribe.> Jeff Probst: Cao Boi…you know where you're going. Cao Boi: Yellow team! <Jeff hands Cao Boi a buff and Cao Boi moves over to his new tribe.> Cao Boi - CONFESSIONAL: I am honored to have this opportunity. You rarely get second chances in life, so this is a very special occasion. I'm going to make the best of it. Jeff Probst: And then there were two. The question is who goes where. Misty…go join the yellow tribe. Misty: Wasn't expecting that. <laughs> <Misty receives a yellow buff and joins her tribe.> Jeff Probst: Tina, that leaves you with the last purple buff. Tina: I guess that's my color. <Tina joins the purple tribe and the camera refocuses on Jeff.> Jeff Probst: So, for the purple tribe we have: Anthony, Ashley, Brian, Dave, Jeff, Tina, Tracy, and Wanda. For the yellow tribe, we have: Aaron, Angie, Brook, Cao Boi, Erica, James, Leslie, and Misty. These are your new tribes, should be a fun one. <A view of Ashley and Dave smirking is shown.> Purple tribe, you guys are "Tikei". Dave: Tikei! Jeff Probst: Yellow tribe, you are "Rapa". Your boats are waiting in the water, along with one map to your beach and a compass. Also, waiting at camp is one pot to boil water, one machete, and a map to your water source. No flint or matches, which means you guys are responsible for making fire on your own. Tina: Aaah! Jeff Probst: You've been given limited supplies, let's see what you can do. Are you truly worthy of playing this game? Your boats are waiting; head on out. This game has officially begun. <Both tribes move toward their boats as the camera zooms out to show an aerial view of the beach and then fades to black.>
Rapa - Day 1
<The tribe is rowing in a large, yellow outrigger canoe. Cao Boi is trying to read the compass and navigate which direction to go.> Cao Boi: We continue to go north and we should eventually see our beach. Aaron: Wait, north? On the map, it's not just straight north. Cao Boi: I mean northwest. Aaron - CONFESSIONAL: Cao Boi immediately tried to take on a leadership role by trying to navigate which way it was to our beach. I think there was one point where we went a little bit off course, but we were all able to figure it out. For the most part, I'm very happy with my tribe. Erica: I think I see it! Misty: I see a yellow flag, so that has to be it. Erica: Get me off this boat! Erica - CONFESSIONAL: When we got to the beach, I was like "Thank God." I was ready to just get off that boat and get started on things. We all were. <The tribe is now getting off their boat and moving to shore.> James: Before we all go off in different directions, I just wanna tell y'all, we gonna work hard, work smart, and kick some Tikei ass. Angie: Hell yeah! <Everyone stands in a circle, with hands in the center.> Brook: One, two, three… All: Rapa! <The tribe cheers and breaks up the circle.> James: Now let's go!
Tikei - Day 1
<The tribe is walking out of the water onto shore at their beach.> Dave: We're home! Tracy: <laughs> Yeah. Jeff: So what do we want to do first? Dave: Well, I think we need to get shelter, get water, and get fire. Brian: Do we need to split up or something? Dave: Who wants to do what? Jeff: I'll do shelter. Brian: I'll work on the shelter too. Tina: I don't know, I'll try making fire. Jeff - CONFESSIONAL: It was already the afternoon, so we only had so many hours of daylight left. We needed to get things done; otherwise we'd have a miserable first night. Ashley: I'll go find water. Where's the map? Dave: I'll come too. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: We had an agenda immediately when we arrived at camp. We needed shelter, fire, and water. Ashley said she wanted to go find our water, so I decided to tag along with her. I needed to get something off my chest. <Dave and Ashley are walking through a jungle path to the water well.> Ashley: What's up, Dave? Dave: I just want you to know, that although we've had our differences in the past… Ashley: Mm hmm… Dave: I don't want that to happen again and get in the way of both of our games. I'm totally willing to work with you if you are with me. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I basically told Ashley that although we aren't the best of friends, it would be in our best interest to kind of be tolerant with each other out here. Our fighting last time pretty much put an end to both of our games, and I don't want that happening again. Ashley: Oh, I totally agree. I mean, <laughs> I'll try to bite my tongue if I feel like screaming at you. Dave: Yeah, thanks. <laughs> Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: I wouldn't at all call me and Dave an alliance. It's more of an agreement not to fight in front of the rest of the tribe. I know what he's capable of, so I'll never trust Dave. But at least we can try to get along this time. <Ashley and Dave arrive at the water well.> Ashley: That looks pretty disgusting. Dave: We'll have to boil it first. Ashley: Which means we need fire. Dave: Yep. <Tina is shown back at camp. The camera is zoomed into her working on the fire.> Tina - CONFESSIONAL: <rubbing a stick back and forth in the groove of another stick> I'm trying to get a fire goin' here. It's pretty difficult without any flint or matches, as you could imagine. Ooh <A spark flashes. Tina blows on the small fire, but it dies.> so close. Maybe next time. <Wanda walks into the scene.> Wanda: How's it going? Tina: No luck. Wanda: That's too bad. Tina: It'd be nice to have some flint. That would help a lot. Wanda: Oh, I bet. Tina - CONFESSIONAL: You know, in order to get fire, we'll need something other than just some sticks. We need flint badly. If we don't have flint, we don't have fire. And if we don't have fire, everything will fall apart.
Rapa - Day 1
<The tribe is standing in a circle and discussing where to put a shelter.> Cao Boi: I think we need to go way back into the jungle. Angie: Yeah, but there's all kinds of bugs and snakes back there. Misty: I think we should put it closer to the beach. The sand's a little softer. Cao Boi: I don't care about comfort. I don't want our shelter to be washed away by high tide. James: He has a point, okay. We either risk havin' our shelter washed away or move it back. Leslie: Should we just vote or something? James: Let's vote. Who wants it back away from the beach? <Cao Boi, James, Brook, Aaron, and Leslie raise their hands.> James: That's five. It's a majority. Misty: Alright, let's get started. James: Are you girls okay with it? Erica: We voted; it's fair. Cao Boi: You'll be thanking me later. Cao Boi - CONFESSIONAL: These younger people don't have as much experience as I do living in these conditions. I know that when high tides come, it's going to rip our shelter apart. That's why we need to build it away from the beach so we don't have to worry about losing our shelter. <Angie, Erica, and Misty are walking in the jungle in search of palm fronds.> Misty: The men are already in control of this tribe. Erica: I can't stand Cao Boi. Dude, just 'cause you're older than us doesn't mean you know everything. Angie - CONFESSIONAL: Misty, Erica, and I already feel like we're in trouble because we didn't have our way with the shelter. I mean, if we can't win a vote for where to put the shelter, what makes us think that we'll win a vote at Tribal Council? <Leslie is now walking toward the girls.> Leslie: Hey girls. Misty: What's up? Leslie - CONFESSIONAL: After we voted on a spot for our shelter, the girls looked kind of upset with me for siding with the men. I wanted to go talk to them, because I didn't want to be excluded right away. Leslie: I just wanted to say I'm sorry about voting to put the shelter back a little. Misty: It's not a big deal. Leslie: Well, I don't want you to be thinking I'm, you know, with the guys. I just felt like they made a good point with the shelter. Erica: You have your opinion, we have ours. It's okay. Leslie: Okay. Leslie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> If they don't like me, then it would be very hard to convince the rest to keep me around, so I need them to like me. Angie: Are the guys back at camp? Leslie: Yeah. <Brook, Aaron, James, and Cao Boi are building the shelter.> Brook: If we put it like a foot above the ground, that way the girls will be a little happier. Aaron: We don't really want snakes and rats crawling all over us. James: Okay, we got a base marked out. Brook: That looks a little small, doesn't it? James: Well then we just expand it. James - CONFESSIONAL: I've got a background in construction, so I know how to build a shelter. Sometimes instead of talkin', people need to listen. I think that's what we're lackin'; too much talkin', not enough listenin'. <The shelter is now about half completed.> Cao Boi: We need leaves. Someone go get some leaves. Brook: The girls are out getting some. Cao Boi: It's been a long time. We're almost done. James: Everybody just relax. We've got time. James - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Cao Boi, he's just go-go-go. There's always something comin' out of his mouth. He's very opinionated, and let me tell you something: if he don't shut up he gonna get voted out. <The girls arrive with palm fronds in their arms.> Leslie: Wow, you guys have been busy. Misty: That looks really good. Cao Boi: We just need palm fronds, then we'll be done. Leslie: We've got plenty. Leslie - CONFESSIONAL: The guys did a phenomenal job with the shelter. I hope it's as good as it looks. But I don't really care about how at looks; as long as I can sleep in it, I'm happy. Cao Boi: Now we need fire.
Tikei - Day 1
<Jeff and Dave are shown putting palm fronds on top of their shelter.> Dave: I think we're done. Jeff: It looks like we've got enough to keep us dry. Brian: Let's hope it sleeps okay. Brian - CONFESSIONAL: We got our shelter up, which is great. We'll have somewhere to sleep tonight that'll keep us dry. Tomorrow we'll continue to work on fire and hopefully we'll get it. Things are going good for us. <Tracy and Wanda are sitting in the shelter.> Wanda: This is really nice. Great job, everyone. Tracy: I think it turned out great. Wanda: Hopefully we sleep well tonight. Tracy: Yeah. Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: Wanda is probably one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She's very genuine, and we all love her to death. I don't know what we'd do without Wanda. <The tribe is gathered near the shelter.> Wanda: We made it through day one everybody! Ashley: Yay! Wanda: I know there'll be harder days to come, but if we just stay positive and keep our heads high, we'll get through it together. Wear that purple buff with pride! Wanda - CONFESSIONAL: I couldn't be happier with the Tikei tribe. Everyone gets along great, and we all work great together. There's nothing but success in our future, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Tracy: It's getting darker out. Ashley: Our first night in Polynesia. |

Rapa - Night 1
<The camera shows James as he can be heard snoring. The rest of the tribe is awake.> Misty: <whispering> Oh my God. Erica: What the hell? He sounds like a bear. Misty - CONFESSIONAL: After a long day we were hoping we'd all get some sleep so we could have some energy for tomorrow. Unfortunately that couldn't because James was snoring. It was keeping most of the tribe awake. Leslie: James. <A creaking noise is heard, and then suddenly the roof of the shelter collapses and falls onto the tribe inside the shelter. Girls can be heard screaming.> Misty - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> And then to make matters worse, the roof of the shelter comes crashing down on us. <Everyone is now out of the shelter.> Angie: What just happened? Aaron: Oh look. <Aaron picks up a large tree branch.> This must've fallen on top of us. Misty: It fell down from the tree. Cao Boi: What are the odds? Aaron - CONFESSIONAL: What happened was, this huge stick must have snapped off of the tree above us and it fell onto our shelter, making our roof collapse. I'm just glad no one was hurt. James: We'll have to fix this in the morning. Aaron: Yeah, it's too dark right now. Erica: Nice timing. Erica - CONFESSIONAL: I knew we should've put that shelter closer to the beach. If we would've done that, we wouldn't be having this problem. We'd all have a good roof over our heads without having to worry about falling tree branches. Idiots. Misty: Some first night, huh?
Rapa - Day 2
<The tribe is remodeling the shelter.> Cao Boi: Let's make is sturdier this time. James: We need some more twine. Leslie: I'll go find some. Brook: I think I'm going to go take a break. <Brook walks over to Misty, who is breaking open a coconut.> Brook - CONFESSIONAL: For some reason, I'm just feeling really tired today, and I don't know if it's because I didn't sleep or eat, or what. Coconut milk only goes so far. We need fire so we can boil water, or else we're all going to be sick and tired come time for a challenge. <Misty hands Brook a coconut.> Misty: Here you go. Brook: Thanks. Man, I'm just exhausted. Misty: I know. It's tough. Brook: It's only day two. It sucks to be feeling this way this early. Misty: Just don't be afraid to take a break. You need to conserve your energy. Brook: I know. Brook - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> These first few days, you just feel like you have to prove yourself to the tribe. I want them to know that I'm strong and that I should be kept around. I don't want to come off as weak or lazy and be voted out. I want to stay in this game for as long as possible.
Tikei - Day 2
Wanda: How did everybody sleep? Ashley: I actually slept more than I thought I would. Dave: I'm feeling pretty good. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: For the first time in Survivor, I didn't wake up this morning and feel like I had to work. Where the tribe is right now, there's not much we can do. We don't have fire, which means we don't need to gather wood and we don't need to cook anything. Brian: I'm so bored. Tina: Not much else to do. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Right now, I'm just sitting back and thinking about how I should go about the day. I may be taking it easy, but I never stop thinking in this game. <Tracy and Dave are walking in the jungle.> Tracy: So how's it going? Dave: Good, I guess. Tracy: I think we already have some little pairs forming in our tribe. Dave: I've noticed it too. Tracy: I see Wanda and Tina getting close, Anthony and Brian, Ashley and Jeff. That leaves… Dave: Us. Tracy: Right. I'm worried, because we're already two of the older ones, so I could see us being targeted. Dave: Well, I don't want that. Tracy: Neither do I. I've been in that situation before and it's not fun. Dave: No. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: Tracy approached me warning that we could be targeted due to other pairs forming in our tribe. I'm surprised, though, that out of all people, she chose me to come to? Tracy: I think you're a great player, and I admire you a lot. Dave: Aw, stop. <laughs> Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Either she really does feel in trouble, or she's just trying to get in my head a little. Either way, I need to watch out for Tracy. Dave: I'll keep you posted. Tracy: I will too. Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: I know Dave's a very powerful player. I want him on my side so he doesn't try to screw me over, because I know he will. In order to keep that from happening, I have to be on his side. You know what they say: keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. <Ashley and Jeff are sitting on the beach. Ashley is soaking her legs in the water.> Ashley: There's like a lot of older people on our tribe. Jeff: I know. I'm worried about how we'll do in a challenge. If you look at it, our tribe isn't as physical-looking as the other tribe. Ashley: No, we're not. Jeff - CONFESSIONAL: Just looking at our tribe, we look like we'd lose any type of physical challenge to the other tribe. Ashley is probably the strongest girl, and I'm probably the strongest guy on our tribe. It's important to keep our tribe strong, so Ashley and I shouldn't be going anywhere for a while. Jeff: Right now, we need to focus on getting rid of the weak people. We're already at a physical disadvantage, so we need every bit of strength we can get. Ashley: You never can be too sure, though. Who knows, maybe their tribe is weaker than ours. Jeff: I hope so. Ashley: I don't want to go to Tribal Council first. Jeff: I don't want to go to Tribal Council ever. Ashley: I like your plan better. <laughs> Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: Jeff and I are close in age, we share similar interests, we're both enjoy physical activities, so of course we're going to get along. I can promise you that we're nothing more than friends. I want to focus all my attention on this game and not worry about any relationships outside of it.
Rapa - Day 2
<The tribe is sitting on the beach together.> Brook: <pointing to the sky> It's getting pretty cloudy over there. Cao Boi: It's probably going to rain. Angie: That's not good. Erica: I hope this new shelter holds. Erica - CONFESSIONAL: Every night it's like something else goes wrong. I think for now on, before we go to bed, we're going to be asking ourselves, "What will go wrong tonight?" <It is now dark. A flash of lightning is shown and a loud, cracking noise is heard. The camera shows the tribe huddled together in the shelter with rain dripping in. A close-up shot of James is shown.> James - CONFESSIONAL: The trees above us are helping a little bit, but this rain just keeps on comin'. We're cold, we're wet. This is not a good situation.
Tikei - Night 2
<The tribe is huddled together similar to Rapa. The shelter has a little less protection from trees, so more water is pouring inside.> Ashley: This is nuts! Dave: I can't believe how bad this is. Brian: When's it going to end? <A shot of the rain hitting the ocean is shown. The sound of the rain begins to fade as the camera changes to a daylight scene. Dave is shown walking out of the shelter toward Jeff who is chopping up coconuts. The four women are sitting in the shelter.> Ashley: I'm just so cold. Tina: I really hope we can win fire today. Wanda: Yeah, we could use some warmth after last night. Tracy: No kidding. Wanda - CONFESSIONAL: It rained almost all night last night. It seemed like hours of just pure darkness and loud noises coming from the rain and thunder. I'd imagine that we're all going to be tired today, and on top of that we have our first challenge! <Brian and Anthony are shown walking into camp carrying a wooden idol about three feet tall.> Brian: Treemail! Dave: Did we already win the immunity idol? Brian: No, it has a message on it. Brian - CONFESSIONAL: After such a miserable night, we needed something to cheer us up. Luckily, we had our first treemail which always seems to lighten the mood a little. <The tribe gathers near the shelter.> Brian: Three days back in the game, You know the drill. It's a test of strength and of will. The idol is in your hands, So don't move too slow, Or tonight, you could be the first to go. Jeff: So we just have to carry that little thing? Brian: It sounds like it. Dave: There has to be more than that. Ashley: That's almost too easy. Brian: I don't know. Brian - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Treemail came with this idol, and we're thinking we'll have to each carry one or something. Right now, it almost looks easy, but you know there's more to it. I'm just hoping our tribe can win, because none of us wants to be the first to go.
Rapa - Day 3
<The tribe is gathered near the idol that came as treemail.> Brook: Well if we just have to carry that, this should be easy. Cao Boi: Let's not get too cocky. If we do, then we'll lose. Brook: I don't like to think that way Cao Boi. We need to think about winning. Cao Boi: Well we don't want to jinx ourselves either. Brook - CONFESSIONAL: We are going to give everything we have in us to win today. I do not want to be voted out first again, so we are winning this challenge, no doubt about it. James: Let's get this show on the road. Leslie: Go Rapa! Cao Boi - CONFESSIONAL: If any of these people know the history of the game, it's always that arrogant tribe that loses the first challenge. We're letting ourselves do that, and it's getting to our heads. Unless we change out thinking, I predict we will lose today.
Immunity Challenge - Weight of the Idol
<The two tribes are shown walking into a small clearing in the jungle. They move to their corresponding mats where a tribal flag awaits them. Jeff Probst is standing next to a covered perch. Behind to his left and right are two giant, 6-foot tall idols, one with purple and one with yellow detailing. The camera focuses on Jeff.> Jeff Probst: How's everybody doing? <Everyone is shown half-smiling and looking nervous.> I'm sure everybody felt that storm last night. Brook, how'd your shelter hold up? Brook: It was alright. We were all wet and freezing cold, but our shelter at least gave us some cover. Jeff Probst: Dave, how's it going at Tikei? Dave: It's alright. It's been a long two days without fire and water, so we're pretty tired. But other than that, we're doing okay. Jeff Probst: I know you all are tired, but we still have our first challenge to get to. You all know what you're playing for, the single most important thing in this game: immunity. <Jeff unveils the immunity idol sitting on the perch.> If you win this, there is no chance that you're going to be voted off at Tribal Council. I'm sure none of you want to be the first person voted out, and this immunity is vital to keep that from happening. Here's how the challenge will work: As you can see behind are two giant idols. They each weigh roughly about 200 pounds. Your task is to carry them through the jungle and to the finish line on the other side of the island. Along the way, there will be three obstacles you must pass through. Once out of the jungle, you'll cross a lagoon to the finish line, where a large, circular groove waits. You must then place your idol in the groove standing straight up. The first tribe to do this wins immunity and is guaranteed another three days in this game. The losers have a date with me at Tribal Council, where somebody will be the first person voted out of this game. Understand? <Everyone is shown nodding and saying "yes."> Jeff Probst: Along with immunity, the winning tribe also gets a reward. Tracy, what is one thing your tribe desperately needs right now? Tracy: Fire! Jeff Probst: So with immunity, the winning tribe gets fire in the form of flint. <Cheers can be heard and several survivors are shown smilling.> Jeff Probst: Worth playing for? James: Hell yeah! Tracy: Let's go. Jeff Probst: Take your spots and wait for my go. <The camera fades and shows a later clip of each tribe next to their idol.> Jeff Probst: This is for immunity, win this and you avoid being the first person voted out of Survivor: Second Chances. Survivors ready? Go! <The tribes move their idols from the starting positions and adjust them so each person is carrying it.> Jeff: I'll take the back. Dave, you get towards the front. <Rapa is now shown. Brook is looking at Jeff.> Brook: I'll get the back. Jeff Probst: Both tribes using similar strategies, putting their strongest men in the back. <The two tribes are even as they race to their first obstacle. Rapa takes a small lead as they come to a large area with many sticks and logs blocking their path.> Cao Boi: Okay, ladies get the sticks out of the way. Jeff Probst: Rapa deciding to move the sticks manually. <The women on Rapa let go of the idol and begin moving sticks out of the way. Tikei now approaches the obstacle and uses the idol as a battering ram to push through.> Jeff Probst: Tikei's just plowing through those sticks. Tracy: Go, go, go! <Rapa is shown again.> Cao Boi: Okay, never mind. We'll just push through. Jeff Probst: Cao Boi deciding to use Tikei's strategy. <Tikei clears the obstacle with a lead. A few seconds later, Rapa moves out and runs to the next obstacle. Tikei is now approaching a set of three thin walls, each with a hole near the center. Tina, Ashley, and Tracy let go of the idol and start pushing the walls side to side, lining up the central holes. As they push and pull, Rapa arrives at the obstacle. Dave is now shown studying the holes in the walls.> Dave: Tracy, a little to the left. Tina, bring it more toward you. Jeff Probst: Dave helps line up the walls. Rapa sending Misty and Erica to move the walls. Ashley: Dave, are we good? Dave: Yeah, let's start moving it through. Jeff Probst: Tikei thinks they've got the holes lined up. <Tikei begins moving their idol through the holes. Rapa is now shown.> Erica: We're good! We're good! Cao Boi: It doesn't look right. Erica: We have to go. Jeff Probst: Rapa having trouble agreeing. <Tikei is now through the walls.
They start moving past the obstacle.>
<Rapa is shown. Their idol is not fitting correctly through the last hole.> Brook: It's not right. Somebody move the back one. <Misty quickly hurries and pulls the
wall toward her, allowing the idol to fit through.>
<Both tribes are shown moving through the jungle with Jeff Probst walking quickly to keep up. Tikei is now approaching the third obstacle, a giant wall.> Tracy: How're we gonna do this? Jeff: The girls should get over first, then we can push this thing up. <Ashley, Tracy, Wanda, and Tina move climb up and over the wall. The men behind push the bottom of the idol up so the women can carry it over. At this time, Rapa arrives at the obstacle.> Jeff Probst: Both tribes are now at the wall. You're going to have to get the idol over, along with the rest of your tribe. Brook: Girls over first, guys will push it up. Jeff Probst: Both tribes are using the same strategies. The men are going to lift the idol up while the women get it over the wall. <Tikei now has their idol level with the top of the wall. The women are pulling the idol over the wall. They manage to bring it over and drop it to the ground on the other side.> Jeff Probst: Tikei has their idol over the wall. Now they just have to get the rest of their tribe. <Jeff helps the remaining men over the wall. His tribe finally pulls him over.> Jeff Probst: It's now a race to the finish for Tikei. Let's go Rapa! <Rapa is now getting their idol over the wall. The women grab it and bring it over. The men quickly pull themselves up and over the wall.> Angie: Come on guys! We're not that far behind. Jeff Probst: Rapa is now over the wall. Can they catch up to Tikei before the finish line? <It is now visibly raining as Tikei now approaches a lagoon. They slowly move into the water, keeping their idol just above waist-high. Rapa is now sprinting toward the lagoon.> Jeff Probst: Rapa managed to make up some ground. It's going to be close. <Rapa is now crossing the lagoon. Tikei is nearly across, approaching the finish line.> Wanda: Almost there. Dave: Keep pushing! <Rapa is about halfway across the lagoon as Tikei moves out of the water. They move sluggishly to the groove where they must place the idol.> Jeff Probst: Tikei's at the end. Erica: No. <Tikei is shown standing their idol and placing it into the groove. Tina is heard saying "yes!"> Jeff Probst: With that, Tikei wins the first immunity challenge! <Tikei is shown cheering and hugging each other over the victory. Rapa comes in and places their idol in the groove. A quick fade into another scene shows the two tribes standing, looking at Jeff Probst.> Jeff Probst: Tikei, well earned. Who wants it? <Jeff Probst hands the immunity idol to Dave.> Jeff Probst: Also, here's flint. <Probst tosses the flint to Jeff.> You're now safe from the vote and you have fire. Tina: Finally! Jeff Probst: Rapa, not as good news for you. I'll see you at Tribal Council where one of you will be the first voted out of this game. Head on back to camp, I'll see you tonight. <The camera shows slow-motion clips of both tribes exiting the challenge area. Brook is shown with a frustrated look on his face, followed by a shot of Erica who shakes her head. The camera then zooms out and fades to black.> |

Tikei - Day 3
<The tribe is shown walking into camp with smiles.> Brian: We did great today, you guys. Ashley: I like winning. Dave: Let's keep it up. Brian - CONFESSIONAL: Today we won the first immunity challenge. We totally kicked the crap out of Rapa. Now everyone's feeling happy. We have fire…everything is fantastic on the Tikei tribe. Jeff: Are we going to get started on fire? Tina: Yeah, let's do it. Jeff - CONFESSIONAL: In part with winning immunity, we also won flint, which we really needed. Now that we'll have fire, we can boil water and cook food, so we'll have a lot more energy and have a huge advantage over the other tribe. <Jeff is shown striking the flint with a machete, kneeling near a pile of sticks and coconut husk.> Tina: Keep blowing on it. Ashley: I never thought I'd be so excited about having fire. <laughs> <Jeff lights a spark that bounces onto the tinder, but it doesn't last long.> Ashley: Shoot. Jeff: Anyone else wanna see if they can get it? Tina: I'll give it a shot. <Jeff hands Tina the machete and flint. She begins striking the flint.> Jeff: <to Ashley> That stuff's pretty wet from the rain. Ashley: Yeah. <Tina continues to strike the flint. She then strikes it again and gets a small spark. She quickly blows on the flame and layers coconut husk on top of it. It continues to light.> Jeff: You got it? Tina: It's small, but it's working! Dave: Oh my God, Tina, you rock! Ashley: Way to go. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: Now that we have fire, we're going to be able to eat and drink. At this point, I'm actually happier that we got fire than immunity. I think I personally needed fire more. Wanda: Tina got fire! Tracy: That's really great. Dave: I'm going to go see if I can get some of that water. Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I now have three more days to solidify my place in the tribe. In Survivor time, three days is a lot of time to talk to people and work some things out. I'm going to make sure that I'm not going home any time soon. This time, I'll be in it for the long haul.
Rapa - Day 3
<The tribe is shown walking into camp with disappointed looks spread across their faces.> Brook: This sucks, man. Angie: Tribal Council tonight. Leslie: I don't want any of us to go home. Aaron: No. Aaron - CONFESSIONAL: We lost the first immunity challenge today, which means we have Tribal Council tonight. We're all pretty bummed because we know that one of us will be the first person voted out. None of us want that to happen to anyone, so we're in a tough spot tonight. <Brook is talking to Misty by the beach.> Brook: So what are you thinking about tonight? Misty: I'm thinking what everyone else is thinking. Brook: Cao Boi? Misty: Yeah. Brook: I know he's been on everyone's nerves these past few days, but Erica really hurt us in the challenge. When she panics, she screws up the rest of the tribe. Misty: Think about Cao Boi at camp. His attitude puts us in a bad mood, which makes us have less focus at the challenge. Brook: I'm going to think about it a little more. Misty: Don't think this through more than you have to. Brook: I know, I know. Brook - CONFESSIONAL: It's looking like tonight Cao Boi could be going home. He's been rubbing a lot of people the wrong way, and they just want him out. But at the challenge, I think Erica was weaker than Cao Boi. She couldn't control herself. No matter what, there's going to be pros and cons for each person. I just have to think about what's best for me and my game. <Brook, Aaron, James, and Cao Boi are in the shelter talking.> Brook: How do you guys think we should vote tonight? Cao Boi: I think it should be Leslie. She's our weakest link. Brook: Leslie? James: Physically, she's the one that will hurt us in challenges. Brook: Look at today, though. Erica cost us some time during the challenge, more than Leslie. Cao Boi: You think it's better to keep Leslie than Erica? <Brook nods.> Cao Boi - CONFESSIONAL: Apparently, Brook wants to vote for Erica. I think it'd be better for us to get rid of Leslie, because she's going to be our weakest link forever. We can't have her holding us back later. That's why she needs to go now. <James and Brook leave the shelter and begin talking after they're far enough away.> James: You really set on Erica? Brook: I don't know. I'm thinking Cao Boi too. I know that's who the girls want out. James: It's gotta be either Cao Boi or Leslie. I mean, Erica's strong. We need her physical strength in challenges. We can fix her mistakes, but we can't make Leslie or Cao Boi stronger. Brook: Yeah. James: I'm willin' to vote however you're gonna vote. Let's just agree on who that's going go be. James - CONFESSIONAL: Brook's smart, but what makes him stupid is that he's trying to please too many people. You can't keep bringing up all these names. You have to make a decision and stick to it. <Erica and Misty are now shown on the beach together.> Misty: Brook's mentioned your name. Erica: What? Misty: He said you panicked too much at the challenge. Erica: So he wants me gone? Instead of Cao Boi, who everybody's wanted out since day one. Misty: I'm just letting you know. We've got four votes from us girls. We just need to convince one of the guys to vote for Cao Boi. Erica: I don't get this. Brook is stupid. Erica - CONFESSIONAL: What the hell? Now all of the sudden Brook wants me gone? We've all wanted Cao Boi gone since the first day. I don't know why all of the sudden Brook's changed his mind, but it's pissin' me off. If I go home, I'm gonna be very mad. <Misty and Brook are in the shelter talking again.> Misty: Have you made a decision yet? Brook: Well, if I don't vote for Cao Boi, we're going to have a tie. Misty: I'm telling you, Cao Boi is the right move tonight. Brook: I'm just really torn. Brook - CONFESSIONAL: For the past three days, the vote's stayed the same: Cao Boi. We've talked about it and we decided a while ago that he'd be the first to go, because he just annoys a lot of us. After the challenge, I'm second-guessing myself. I know that I'm over-thinking this, but I just can't help it. I want to make sure that I'm making the best move tonight. Misty: Brook, just relax. It's going to be fine. Brook: It's weird how everything changes after just one challenge. Misty: Nothing has changed. We're all just a little on-edge. Brook: I guess I'm just worried that I'm going to be first again. Misty: That's not even possible. Brook: Still, I can't help but to think about it. Misty: <holding her hand to her face and shaking her head> Brook. Misty - CONFESSIONAL: If Brook is smart, he'll just stick to the original plan and vote for Cao Boi. He's thinking way too much about this and is making the vote harder than it should be. The key to this game is keeping cool under pressure. If you can't do that, then you've got no chance of winning.
Tribal Council - Rapa
<The camera shows a nighttime scene. Tribal Council sits on the water, surrounded by lit torches with their reflections in the water. A closer view is shown of the Rapa tribe getting out of their boat at a small dock. They then make their way to the Tribal Council area where Jeff waits for them. They stand, waiting for further instructions.> Jeff Probst: Behind each of you is a torch. Go ahead and grab one and approach the flame. <The tribe grabs their torches and dips them in the central fire pit as Jeff continues talking.> As you all know, fire represents life in this game. When your fire is out, so are you. <The tribe now takes a seat on eight wooden stumps sitting across from Jeff.> Jeff Probst: I can tell by the looks on all of your faces that you definitely do not want to be here. <Erica is shown shaking her head.> Leslie, what's going through your head right now? Leslie: Um, you know, it's very hard to be here tonight. We're all very sad because we know that one of us is going to be the first person voted out of this game. It's not a good feeling. <Brook is shown looking over at Leslie then back at Jeff.> Jeff Probst: Let's talk about that. One of you is going to be the first to go. It's gotta be hard because you know what it's like to be voted out early and none of you want to go through it again. Brook, <Brook perks up and looks at Jeff.> You're the only person here who's been the first person voted out before. Reliving any bad memories as we sit here tonight? Brook: Jeff, that's been going through my head all day long. Since we lost the challenge, all I've been thinking about is the possibility of me going home first again. <Misty is shown looking at Brook.> That really hurt to go through that once; I don't want to go through it again. <Cao Boi is now shown before the camera moves to Jeff.> Jeff Probst: I think that's fair to say about all of you. You all came ready to play last time, and your game was cut short. Obviously something went wrong, so how do you change your strategy for this game? Misty? Misty: I come into this game being a little more aware of what's going on. You know, I always make sure I'm not alone. <A quick shot of Angie is shown.> Um, just doing what I have to do. <Misty shrugs her shoulders before Jeff is shown again.> Jeff Probst: Let's talk about the vote tonight. The first big decision has to be made tonight. James, <James is shown quickly turning his head toward Jeff.> what are you thinking? James: Hell, I don't know. <The rest of the tribe smiles and laughs.> As much as we say it's hard to cast a vote, we know we gotta do it. It's part of the game, and we're all here to play the game. Jeff Probst: Cao Boi, what are you basing your vote on tonight? Cao Boi: Well Jeff, I think at this early in the game, you must have a strong tribe so you can win challenges. <A nervous Leslie is shown.> For instance, I think Erica cost us the challenge with her constant nagging to go forward instead of taking our time and making sure we were ready. <Erica is shown rolling her eyes.> Jeff Probst: Erica, you're rolling your eyes. Erica: I don't need Cao Boi to call me out like that. If we were here to just call out everyone's mistakes, we'd be here for hours. Cao Boi: I'm just making sure the tribe knows. Erica: Well, they don't need you pointin' things out for 'em. They can figure it out themselves. Cao Boi: Okay. <Brook is shown laughing and shaking is head.> Jeff Probst: I take it that there's been a lot going on today at camp. The first Tribal Council always puts people a little bit on edge. Brook, knowing tonight is a very big vote, how do you base your decision. Brook: I've done a lot of thinking today. I just hope that I make the decision that's best for me and best for this tribe. <Erica is shown again, looking at Brook.> Jeff Probst: It's now time to get to the first big decision you must make as a tribe. One of you <A quick shot of Misty is shown.> is about to be the first person voted out of this game. <An uneasy Leslie is shown.> It is time to vote, Aaron, you're up. <Aaron is shown walking past Jeff to the voting confessional. The camera fades to him placing his vote in the urn before he is shown walking back to his seat. Angie is then shown taking the cap off of the pen as she begins writing a name. A shot of the fire is shown before Erica is shown looking toward the voting confessional. Cao Boi is then shown writing an "E" on his piece of parchment. He holds up his vote to the camera. It reads "Erika".> Cao Boi: You and I haven't gotten along since day one. Naturally, one of us has to go in order for our tribe to be as unified as it can be. <Cao Boi folds his vote and places it in the urn. The camera fades to a shot of James walking up to vote. A shot of Brook is shown as he looks into the fire. The camera then returns to James who is placing his vote in the urn. Leslie is shown next walking to vote. She picks up the pen, but the camera fades so that her vote is not seen. Next, Erica is shown writing a name. She holds her vote up to the camera. It reads "Cowboy".> Erica: I can't take another minute of your rude, obnoxious, self-centered attitude. <Cao Boi is shown looking into the fire.> Lucky for me, I won't have to deal with you anymore. See ya. <Erica places her vote in the urn and walks away. Misty is then shown walking to the voting confessional. She picks up the pen and writes a name as the camera fades away. Brook is now shown walking to cast the vote. He picks up the pen and takes its cap off. He then writes a name. Misty is shown looking in Brook's direction before the camera returns to him. Due to the angle, Brook's vote is not seen.> Brook: I'm sorry. <Erica is shown with her fist to her cheek, looking into the fire.> I had to do what was best. <Brook places his vote in the urn and walks away. A view of Cao Boi is shown before Brook is shown again walking to the Tribal Council area. He takes a seat. The camera moves to Jeff.> Jeff Probst: I'll go tally the votes. <As Jeff walks away, the camera moves to an uneasy Erica. A shot of the fire is shown transitioning to a view of Cao Boi. Finally, the camera fades to show Brook with an unhappy look on his face. Jeff then returns with the votes.> Jeff Probst: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. <Jeff removes the lid of the urn and reaches for the first vote. He opens it up and reveals it to the tribe.> Erika. <Erica is shown.> One vote Erica. Jeff Probst: <Jeff reaches for the next vote. He reads it, then reveals it to the tribe.> Cowboy. That's one vote Cao Boi, one vote Erica. <Cao Boi is shown nodding.> Jeff Probst: Next vote, <Jeff reaches in and pulls out another vote. He opens it and turns it so that it faces the tribe.> Cao Boi. <Cao Boi is shown as he nods his head once.> That's two votes Cao Boi, one vote Erica. <Erica is shown focusing on Jeff.> Jeff Probst: <Jeff reaches for another out. He pulls it out and opens it slightly to read it. He then turns it around for the tribe to see.> Caoboi. That's three votes Cao Boi, <Cao Boi now has a frown on his face.> one vote Erica. Jeff Probst: Next vote, <Jeff pulls out the fifth vote. He quickly turns it around and reveals it to the tribe.> Cowboy. <Cao Boi is now shown looking very uneasy.> Four votes Cao Boi. Jeff Probst: <Jeff reaches in and pulls out the next vote. A view of Brook is shown as he looks at Jeff. Jeff stares at the vote before he turns it around.> First person voted out of Survivor: Second Chances, <Misty looks over at Brook. A view of Erica is then shown, followed by a view of Cao Boi. The camera then returns to Jeff.> Cao Boi. <Erica lets out a sigh of relief and looks over at Cao Boi.> Cao Boi, with five votes, that's enough. You need to bring me your torch. <Cao Boi gets up and moves toward his torch. James is now shown looking at Cao Boi, before Brook is shown. He says "I'm sorry, man" to Cao Boi. Cao Boi then moves to Jeff and places his torch in front of him.> Jeff Probst: Cao Boi, the tribe has spoken. <Jeff snuffs Cao Boi's torch.> It's time for you to go. <Cao Boi turns around and looks at his tribe.> Cao Boi: Good luck you guys. <James is shown nodding his head before Cao Boi is shown again. He walks down a marked path and leaves the Tribal Council area. The camera then returns to Jeff.> Jeff Probst: The good news is, your biggest fear of being voted off first is now gone. <A quick view of Brook is shown.> The bad news is, you're now one member down and still have no fire. You won't be taking your torches with you. You'll have to earn fire on your own. <Leslie can be seen muttering "yikes" under her breath.> Head on back to camp. I'll see you tomorrow. <The tribe gets up from their seats and begins moving out of the Tribal Council area, down to the dock where their boat awaits. The camera zooms out to show an aerial view of Tribal Council before fading to black.>
Episode 2 Clues:
1. One tribe suffers from the lack of food and water. 2. A twist at the reward challenge forces one tribe to make an important decision, one which puts a new spin on the game. 3. One survivor has a hard time fitting in to the group, and is marked as an outsider of the tribe. 4.
With Tribal Council approaching, one tribe must make a tough decision whether to vote out a weaker, but
more likeable member versus a stronger, but less favorable member.
Playing this game once was great, and being able to play it again was such a huge honor. I'm okay with going first. I knew that I would have trouble fitting in with young people, so I was hoping I would end up on an older time. That didn't happen, and I knew I wasn't going to get very far with all these younger people. I love Survivor, and I give credit to all these people who are willing to do this again. It will be no easy task. |

In case anyone missed it, I posted a link to the episode on the first page. It's near the top of the first post. The word document is a little easier to read, because it has bigger font and looks a little more spread out than the actual posts.

Who will be the Sole Survivor? Misty or Ashley.
Who will be voted out next? From the preview I'd say it's between Wanda and Dave,
with Wanda being voted out.
Any other predictions (or responses to the clues)? 1. One tribe suffers from the lack of food and water.<<< Obviously Rapa. 2. A twist at the reward challenge forces one tribe to make an important decision, one which puts a new spin on the game.<< I'm

Congratulations on being the first to reply, GeorgeJhon!
I really enjoed it. Both tribes are interesting even though i personally prefer Tikei a lot more. The dynamics of both tribes were very interesting, such as the couples on Tikei. I saw the boot of Cao Boi coming obviously but it was still very interesting. Overall a very good premiere =)Thanks! I kind of figured the boot would be obvious, but I think many guessed this even before the episode was posted. I'm okay with this being an obvious boot. Not all can be completely unknown, but the majority of the boots left will not be completely obvious throughout the episode. Some will keep you guessing all the way through. From the preview I'd say it's between Wanda and Dave, with Wanda being voted out. Interesting prediction! We'll see what happens.
I'm not familiar enough with edgic. Sorry =( That's okay. Edgic is very complicated, so I don't blame you for not knowing. :)

Episode 1 Comments | ||

What did you think of the episode overall? I enjoyed the episode a lot. I felt like there might be a little bit more content than there typically is in a premiere episode, but in a way, that is more of a good thing. I typed up some really random notes as I read the episode, so I'm just going to put them all down here and then I'll try to organize my thoughts after that. Some of these are just really minor things that I noticed and might not mean anything: - Tracy/Angie had a really similar confessional back-to-back where they both said they were "a little nervous" about something - I must say that you missed out on a great opportunity to give Cao Boi a line about "The Asian going to the yellow tribe," when Jeff asked him which tribe he was going to. I felt like that would be fitting given his racial jokes in Cook Islands. - Angie/Erica/Misty as a group (alliance?) - Leslie votes with the guys (5-3) on shelter, then goes to girls to apologize - Erica seemed a little rude to Leslie with her response - Ashley definitely goes far - Wanda = OTTP - James keep tribe awake, negative? - Falling tree branch? I felt
that this part might have been a little exaggerated that a tree branch happened to fall on their shelter the very first night. However, I get that you were
trying to make the girls look a little bit smarter and Cao Boi's idea more foolish by having this happen, so I think it's okay.
- Jeff goes far - Ashley/Jeff talking about voting off the weak - Erica pessimistic, disagrees with Cao Boi, early boots - Cao Boi's comment about the arrogant tribe loses = Rapa loses? SIDE NOTE, ADDED LATER: This is an example of an instance where it can be considered foreshadowing that Rapa loses or irony that the arrogant tribe still wins. - Tracy gets fire quote at IC when Jeff asks her = important - Jeff/Dave seem to be leaders at Tikei: plus pairs of Tina/Wanda, Ashley/Jeff, Anthony/Brian, Dave/Tracy - Jeff gives the Immunity Idol to Dave - Ashley and Dave gets lots of little comments here & there - I liked the idea of the first Immunity Challenge - Erica panics again at the challenge?? Not learning from her mistakes = not good, possible first boot - Brook goes far in the game - OK, maybe not. The vote might change to Brook since he's being indecisive. I thought that he might get too caught up in the game early on and make some mistakes that lead to him going first again. - Looks like that didn't happen, it will be either Cao Boi or Erica - Angie's quote: the girls can't win a vote at Tribal Council?? That makes me think they will win the vote - Question: Why does Cao Boi change to Erica? I thought he wanted to vote for Leslie, unless I missed something near the end (I'll go back and check) Okay, so I don't remember everything that I put in my preshow predictions, but going off of this episode, I think the following people will definitely go pretty far: Ashley, Jeff, Dave, Tracy, Aaron, Brook, Misty These people are wild cards: Angie, James, Leslie, Tina, Wanda?? These people will probably go fairly soon: Erica, Anthony, Brian, Wanda??
Who will be the Sole Survivor? There's still quite a few possible choices, but the people with the best chance are: Aaron, Ashley, Jeff, Dave, and Tracy (in no
particular order)
Who will be voted out next? Either Anthony or Wanda, but probably Wanda since Anthony is probably not going to be considered stronger
Any other predictions (or responses to the clues)?
One tribe suffers from the lack of food and water. Probably Rapa since they don't have fire A twist at the reward challenge forces one tribe to make an important decision, one which puts a new spin on the game. Not sure, it really could be anything but it probably has to do with Exile Island or the hidden Immunity Idol One survivor has a hard time fitting in to the group, and is marked as an outsider of the tribe. Possibly Anthony? With Tribal Council approaching, one tribe must make a tough decision whether to vote out a weaker, but more likeable member versus a stronger, but less favorable member. I think this is going to be Wanda as the weaker and likeable one, but I'm not sure who the other would be. Unless it's Anthony or Brian (unlikely), then Wanda will probably go home. POPULARITY POLL Please give each of the survivors a 1-10 rating based on how well you liked them in the episode. 1 is the lowest rating, 10 is the highest. Results will be tallied, and an updated chart will be posted. I'll try to vary them a
little more now:
Aaron - 6
Angie - 8
Anthony - 2
Ashley - 9
Brian - 4
Brook - 7
Cao Boi - 4
Dave - 10
Erica - 3
James - 5
Jeff - 6
Leslie - 8
Misty - 6
Tina - 8
Tracy - 8
Wanda - 7
EDGIC For those familiar with Edgic, please rate the following survivors according, based on how they were edited during this episode. I have a good idea what the final ratings will be, but opinions from others may help me determine those less clear ratings. I will post a chart with official ratings before the next episode. Rating: INV, UTR, MOR, CP, OTT Tone: NN, N, Mixed (M), Neutral ( ), P, PP Visibility: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 As you know
from your last story, I always said I have a really hard time with this for some reason, so these ratings could be really off. Sorry, if they
are:
Aaron - MOR3
Angie - UTR2/MOR2
Anthony - INV1
Ashley - MORP4/CPP4
Brian - UTR2
Brook - CP5
Cao Boi - OTTN4
Dave - CP5
Erica - MORN4/OTTN4
James - CPM4 (CPN4?)
Jeff - MOR3
Leslie - MOR2
Misty - CP4 (possibly P?)
Tina - UTRP2
Tracy - MOR3
Wanda - OTTP3
(I will start the winner's poll after episode three is posted) Thanks again for reading! You may not know how much it means to receive comments from others, but it's very helpful to me. I hope to hear from you again after the next episode is posted. Enjoy the rest of the fanfic! Keep up the
great work. Looking forward to more! :)

Sorry for my post looking like a mess. I put more spaces in than are showing up, and I don't know why it changed around some of the fonts.
