Those were weird eps -- I agree the first one was likely the season finale and the second was the lost pilot. Everything seemed slightly off in the second.
Even Jill was odd, allthough DirecTV chopped off the first half of it for me.
Still, loved loved loved Katie. Has anyone else ever run a perfect course? She got to the end of the punching wall AND across the big balls. I really like this show, but one thing I would change is the constant replays of the contestants riding off Killer Surf...
"Wow, look how far he landed! We need to see that again!" "Did you see him land in the water? Let's take another look!" Yeah, some replays are fun to see, but that one is pointless. It's just people going down a water slide... They should take that out and show more fatties in the qualifying round. It's still fun to watch. |

You could totally tell the first eppy was the pilot. It had 32 cast members and an incomplete qualifier/final course. |

Watching something ABC is calling a season finale in my market tonight.
Do they think they're making up for last week, when they put on Billy Graham, instead? "I just said, 'thanks but no thanks to the Billy Graham special.'" This is an awards show of sorts, a reunion show of sorts, a "best moments" countdown show of sorts, and a ripoff of an American Idol finale, all rolled into one.

This episode was a shameless attempt to draw out a surprising hit show. And I mean completely shameless. Not only have we had a recap already (and there were
only 9 episodes to date), but tonight's show consisted of a bunch of drunk kids on a beach who had probably never seen the show before trying to act
enthused about guests from this show coming on and giving brief commentary on their wipeouts. Furthermore it became pretty apparent that these
"guests" were just looking for a free trip to the beach. Did we really need to see the guy who sang a 5 second jingle about the show after he won?
I mean, seriously?!? What the fuck is this? I shut it off after about 20 minutes, and even that was too long...

Plus I missed Ariel's eppie, so it was fun to see her at last. What a sweetheart. I knew that guy who did the inadvertent split on the big balls was going to be way up there. |

QUESTION: I turned on my TV at around 8:10 ish and the number 25-21 guy who looks like a Latino, is fat, and has a mustache made it to the final round? They
showed him struggling through the barrels. How is that possible? He didn't look athletic.
