Poor Denise, she's been through a bitter divorce, then her mother died and all within the last three years. I don't know why people just expect her to
"get over it" that fast. She's still grieving and getting her mind around being a single mother and not having her own mother.
These are on the top 5 of the stress scale and I think she's doing fine and shouldn't be pushed into anything right now. |

Ok, I'm going to go there.
I was so damn shocked that when she was describing the "toys" from the party, she did it with a straight face, all the while acting like she had no bloomin idea that all those things came in all the sizes and shapes they did. Not to mention colors. I was so not buying that. She was married to Charlie ferchristsakes. That has me thinking she just might be a better actress than I gave her credit for. |

Denise needs a good man like her father. I hope she drops her fascination with bad boys and finds a decent guy who will be with her for 50yrs liker her
parents.

Haw haw haw!
She talks about family values and then gets in the shower nude and has someone spray down her ass. She's got a sense of humor, that girl. Haw haw haw! |

Denise likes to have fun, and isn't ashamed to show her sexy side. Nothing wrong with that. |

Denise is a fun-loving gal, but with a practical side. She knew she had to play a hooker to snare Charlie, so she did. And she was good at it!

Denise was perfect for Charlie in his sobriety, she didn't drink/do drugs/smoke, and she was also beautiful. Charlie was sooooo lucky to find a girl like
Denise. Denise was also her own person and not Charlie's slave. Denise wanted a real marriage, and not to be used as a PR wife for Charlie.

Denise is the beginning of each post. It has a green eggs and ham feel.

If Charlie Sheen needed a wife for publicity, he wouldn't have married a B Actress like Denise Richards. Get real. He has a hit show, impressive movie
credits and his father is one of the most respected character actors in Hollywood.

Are you kidding me??? Charlie was down and out in Hollywood. He was not only on Heidi's list, he was also labeled as an unreliable drunk/druggie.
Charlie's marriage to Denise and future children bought him respectablity. Total PR Move. |

Oh come now Nat- you know how Hollywood works, being a drunk/druggie client of Heidi's is just as good as a PR move for Charlie as marrying anyone, let
alone Denise. I think you got your Janie glasses on when it comes to Denise.
While I don't necessarily think that at the time they married Charlie was too good for her (he was afterall in an off and on long term relationship with a porn star), NOW- now he's definitely too good for her as her little show has emphatically confirmed what many of us has thought for a long time. She is a phoney, manipulative gold-digger who will use anyone (including her children and the death of her mother) to stay in the public eye. It's been two plus years since her separation from Charlie.. he's moved on, yet SHE is the one continuing to use their relationship woes for publicity fodder. She kinda creeps me out, like she'd cut a bitch if it meant a movie role. |

chel, I disagree with absolutely everything in your post...
And this latest episode made me cry (I recently lost my mother, so I'm admittedly sensitive to this subject matter). CLEARLY, Denise's parents are/were good people. Her sister seems pretty decent, too. I think it would be very unusual for a good family like that to create the monster that many of you are painting Denise to be. |

Droobie always marches to a beat of a different drummer. I disagree with everything in his posts. chel's post - all truefax.
Not only is Two and Half Men a hit, so was Spin City - which he threw Denise (who wasn't working as much) a bone and had her on for 4 episodes. Yet she claims she didn't know Heather Locklear well. So what was he doing before he married Denise?
Not to mention producing and writing credits. Doesn't look like he was down and out. - in fact, it looks like he never stopped working. |

Lovejonze, your list of his credits is actually very revealing. Notice how his starring in mainstream movies came to a screeching halt in 1994 (after "The
Chase" and "Terminal Velocity" bombed and "Major League II" underperformed)? Prior to that, he had a big career. After that,
though, Charlie was washed up in a huge way until 2000 when he got lucky due to Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's and got that gig on "Spin City".
I guess he was on an upswing when he met Denise in 2001, but he was far from his height. Denise's greatest hits ("Wild Things", "Drop Dead
Gorgeous", "The World is Not Enough"...) were much more recent. I don't think it would be clear cut in 2001 to say which of their careers
was healthier. Since 2001, his has definitely been better, but I imagine her carrying and birthing and raising his daughters probably had something to do with
that...

Or if she hired that guy to play her dad because they are so different. Because no, he doesn't seem like the type of guy who raised his daughter to pose in playboy, or use the C word as oft as she does.. on the other hand there are tons of monsters out there who have good parents.. |
