A husband and wife are marketing a placebo pill for parent to give to kids when the kids hurt themselves or say they need medicine but really don't. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/ Click on the video "Can placebos replace medications?" Good idea, or teaching kids to reach for a pill for everything?

Get 'em trained young! I strongly believe in the placebo effect and I think it can be used beneficially, but not in this case.

If I was lucky I got some hydrogen peroxide dumped on a wound and a bandaid that someone dug out of the back of the medicine cabinet.
