Nope, pino, I figured I need some serious break from doing these races. It gets pretty tiring over time. Plus, it's university time already. Gotta focus on studying, you know.

Avant Tai: Hello, everyone! Avant Tai here for our seasonal interview with Phil.
Phil: How do you do, AT?
AT: I'm good, but enough about me, let's talk TAR.
Phil: Sure.

AT: How has this season differed from previous season? Season 3 was a letdown race-wise and challenge-wise.
Phil: Well, I'm glad to say we have hit some tourist-y locations which have tons of fun tasks for the teams. It's a fun send-off before summer/winter begins for our racers. I can say we only go to a couple of new places where TAR hasn't gone before, but for countries we are revisiting, expect to see a new switch-up then what you are used to.

AT: What about tasks?
Phil: Expect to see fewer writing tasks. Things will be kept short and brief and this will be shown in the legs. One thing we emphasized this season was searching tasks. Using the internet to your advantage, studying food, political governments, and yelling racist statements to people are some of the fun to be had this season. Teams were also surprised how short the season was.

AT: What do you mean?
Phil: Some legs will only take one and a half hours. Of course, with three superlegs, two legs will run the total of about three hours. Things will be pretty compact and we have quite a few NELs this season.

AT: Neat! What kind of surprises can we expect?
Phil: This season you won't see anything the race does to be surprising. We follow the same old formula. I have a feeling that with such a short season, teams will be taking more risks and chances to gain an edge. These teams are motivated and ready to be unleashed as soon as we begin.

AT: I have to ask, what is the deal with the split leg this season? How has it changed?
Phil: Well, that's for viewers to find out. We have fixed it largely due to complaints last season. It should be much smoother and effective and we have two legs to test the new superleg format on.

AT: Ok. Any bets on who wins? The cast looks promising.
Phil: It was pretty unpredictable, some teams that were good went out early, bad teams went far. Just expect the unexpected this season.

AT: Great, thanks Phil. Any final comments?

Zach: I'm so excited about this, 'Scarlet'! Do you think we'll be able to win two seasons in a row, though?
Scarlet: Yeah, of course, 'Zach.' Or should I say, Lachlan. Ever since we used our winnings for a complete genetic restructuring for you, and a sexual reassignment for me, I've been feeling lighter, more athletic.
Zach: I suppose your balls were weighing you down, Gabe. Like hairy, fleshy anchors.
Scarlet: Ew. But I've also been feeling more... amorous, if you catch my drift.
Zach: Are you coming on to me? Because that would be weird. Plus I still have to patch things up with Sang-mi, she sort of freaked out when I turned up looking like this and tried to get busy with her.
Scarlet: Okay, I can't keep this up anymore. We're supposed to be good at lying, right? No-one's going to believe that we're Lach & Gabe.
Zach: Well I'd hope not. Apart from winning, they fucking sucked in pretty much every leg.
Scarlet: Yeah, I know, right? We'd better blow their record out of the water or I'll be pretty damn upset.
Zach: Well, back to the drawing board then... we've got to come up with some better lies.

Dominique: I am incredible! But I guess if we are already committed to this, we might as well dominate.
