Wow, just this morning I received this email from one of my clients. It is just too timely not to share. I've changed the names to protect the innocent:
I present you classic separation anxiety. The operative word is anxiety. A desire to be near or with an owner is normal behavior. When the inability to be with the owner is coupled with obsessive, manic, destructive, and self mutilating behaviors, that's when it would be categorized as abnormal. It was so unfortunate, irresponsible and almost criminal for that word to be used in connection with the behaviors Andrew displayed. Not even close. They will now have people worried that their dogs prefer them to other people. Sorry for the public service announcement, but receiving this email this morning was just too perfect!
By the way, how do you post photos in a message? I have some I'd like to share.
And is anyone willing to give me the actual definition of mactor, lol? I get the actor part, but what does the "m" stand for?
