Remove this ad I don't really like Rush so much anyway, but Hubby loves them so off we went for a 4 hour drive to see them at the The Amphitheater at Clark County. What did I get? Three hours of headache inducing noise, 9 songs from Snakes and Arrows and hardly anything from the 70's and 80's which is all hubby had in his collection and the older songs that they did play.. Circumstances, Hemispheres and A Passage to Bangkok? WTF? I think I only knew 3 or 4 songs total and the rest just sucked. Geddy was in fine voice though and Neil kicks ass. I'll give em that.

For an old guy, I do give him credit. He sounds almost exactly like he did when he was young. We go to a lot of concerts and there are a lot of people who really should give up the singing when they get old and crappy. eta: again at S&A thinking he got a call out thread! This was the only band my ex fiance and I could not agree on. To this day,when we talk on the phone, he'll play it just to piss me off. I told him I broke up with him because he liked Rush. UGH.
