Every season the editors always throw in a clue or two in the opening credits, so it makes sense for us to meticulously go through the opening credits each
episode and see what has changed week to week and find what kind of interesting things appear alongside the players' info.
Episode 1:
Lighting:
While going through the credits I noticed that each player had one of three lighting choices: no colour, a green lens flare, or a blue lens flare. Here are screencaps of the player's introductions in the order they appeared in the episode.
So, in summary:
No light: Mark, Marcie, Liz, Craig
Green light: Victoria, Paul, Alex, Ali, Kristen
Blue light: Bobby, Nicole, Clay
Now, I don't know what these mean or if they mean anything at all at this point, but, since Marcie had no lighting and she was executed this may not bode well for Mark, Liz, and Craig. Maybe Green = possible mole suspect, and Blue = potential winner, or even the other way around.. hard to say at this point. I guess we'll have to watch and see what happens and see if a pattern emerges.
Audio Frequency Change?:
When Ali is introduced the music changes slightly - sort of like a CD scratch causing a change in tone/frequency. Just rewatch that part and you'll hear what I mean. I don't know if that's part of the musical score or an intentional change in the music.
Kristen's Green Flash:
Halfway through Kristen's introduction, when John Kelly says "neuroscientist" the screen flashes green for a millisecond. There are no such other sudden flashes during other players' sequences. I managed to get a screencap of this flash after much tinkering around. Let me tell you - pausing at that exact second wasn't easy. Rewatch her part and pay attention - especially when neuroscientist is said.
Does this mean she's the Mole or the winner? Who knows at this point. :P
