Posts: 2859 08/20/12 02:13 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I finally got around to watching The Divide last night. The first forty-ish minutes are poorly-acted shit. Really strange dialogue and character behavior, too (I blame it on most of the production team being French)—although it seems less strange once everyone starts going batshit. Near the end the acting seems to get loads better and it becomes pretty tense/rapey/gross/creepy. A very weird little film, probably a bit better than the director's other "big" movie, La Horde. Oh, and excellent use of lighting and make-up. They made radiation poisoning look AWFUL.

But first, they'll have to go through the tapes, each of which tells a blood-soaked tale. I juts saw it yesterday. The first and last story was pretty good and scary! Its basically an anthology horror flick coming from a bunch of up-and-coming genre directors.

Lot's of fun and best to know as little as possible going into it.

During one scene there was the noise of a cow mooing/moaning in pain as if it were being anally electrocuted to death . Then I realize it's not from the movie, but somebody in the theatre. Some brilliant parent decided to bring their mentally handicapped kid to see this movie..... During bits of the movie he would moo out. And the guardian would shush him.
