Sons of Anarchy - It's The Shield...on wheels. |

FX's newest series starts in September, and the first promos have already started airing. If the show is half as cool as the promo, then it should be
worth watching. Plus, the ultimate MILF Katey Sagal will be in it, so there's a little something for everyone.

Hope it's the next THE SHIELD and not the next THE RICHES/DIRT.

Yeah...Kurt Sutter is involved, so I'm hoping so, as well.
Can't wait to finally check it out, tonight!! |

Pretty decent first episode. They have to introduce the background and how things work in "biker gangs" for this type of show since it is something
that has basically never been done before. I can't complain, I'll definitely be watching it next week. I'm sure it'll get better as it goes on.
Katey Sagal = Excellent. |

Too early to critique, but i turned it off after twenty minutes. I couldn't handle looking at that dog face biker president any longer.

started the show too late so I was too tired to finish the ep. What I did watch, I liked. I'll tune in to see where this goes.

I liked it a lot -- Katie Segall just knocks it out of the park when she goes bad. It is pretty much just like The Shield, but that's not necessarily a
bad thing. I did laugh pretty loudly at the over the top ending set up, with Jax looking at his son, his mother looking at him hungrily, and then Ron over
their shoulder glowering menacingly. Okay show, I GET IT.

Show looks like is has potential, Katie is great as the Mama. Bought that hook line and sinker. Ron as the Step-Dad/Biker gang prez uh, no. That scene with the
Hispanic gang member was some of the worst acting I had ever seen. They need to re-cast the role or hope to God, he gets settled down and grooves into the
role.
The rest of the cast look like they could be promising depending on what they do with the characters. Loved the demo-guy trying to go straight from "remember the titans" as well as his wife from "over there" her freak out was great, hope they do something with them, too. Can't remember the characters names. Guess we wait until next week to see for sure? |

I would basically watch anything Katey Sagal does, but I actually enjoyed the show too.

The show has potential, but I did have to laugh at the idea of a biker in a gang named SONS OF ANARCHY having a Hollywood-smooth chest.

It's MacBeth with choppers and Katie is awesome as Lady MacBeth! I finally figured out SAMCRO after the second time around. |

Jax is like Brad Pitt lite.
Katey Sagal is awesome but i'm not sure she's worth investing in the show. It's a little cheesy for me. I might give it one more ep. |

I caught a few minutes of this, and was incredibly annoyed by a guy who didn't seem to move his mouth at all when he spoke.

Haha...who, Perlman!? That's also why he was so good as "the beast"/Hellboy.
Well, I thought it was off to a great start. Began and finished with a bang. Impaled gangsters and dynamite up the wa-zoo...plus entertaining, drama, and some ER suspense...I'm looking forward to tonight!! |

That was a great line, and there were a lot of good ones in this episode. It was a pretty good episode, I gotta say, I loved the axe scene in the convenience
store.
I'm still not sold, but I really like that they're building on the Opie family struggles storyline and the tension between Tara & Gemma. Also like the Hale character a lot. Oh, and Katey Sagal is just phenomenal. I had to rewind and replay the "You wanna touch me sweetheart? That make you happy?" line over and over. I have high hopes for the show, it's got a lot of potential. |

Love Katie Sagal's part and I was pleasantly surprised to see Drea De Matteo (Adrianna - The Sopranos) appear. Also, Sprague Grayden from 'Jericho'
and now we have Dutch from The Shield. Who next? So far I'm diggin' it.

I absolutely admire the good people at FX for being really daring but they always come so close to making a drama that I'd actually watch. The Shield,
this, Damages - those are all good shows. The problem is that they aren't great shows. They're all just missing
something in the execution. This one's cheesy, Damages is occasionally unbelievable and has a Glenn Close character that isn't well thought out,
Nip/Tuck doesn't stop with the shock value stuff, etc.
