Christ I hate these award shows with the passion of a thousand white hot burning suns.... but as required by my gay male contract I am obliged to watch.. that said I watched drinking and then we ran out of wine at 8:15 that is how bad this show is... was.. whatever... None of us could believe the "hosts" as it were and why they were there.. not giving them a script because they are "reality hosts" and therefore used to working without scripts apparently have never watched "reality shows".... there is a reason half of Heidi's talks on PR are dubbed and it has nothing to do with an accent... Bergeron who has accepted his lot in life as Bob Barker without respect of Bob Barker was clearly pained as he is during his hosting of DWTS... just only moreso thanks to the suckage that is Howie Mandel. For the first time I think Bergeron wished Samantha Mumbles (not Who, who is more interesting goregeous and brave coming out there with no tits.. rock on sister) was there instead of the tard bag Mandel and the closet case Secrest.. Jeff Probst once Secrest's future former lover sadly now looks like an aging porn star desperately trying for a cum back.... yikes he looks bad in a Harry Reems dying of AIDS way..

Then we have the strange pairings, incoherent ramblings and bizzare tributes that made no sense.... the steadfast avoidance of topical humor, political humor was also odd given that this group honored so many shows that address many contemporary issues... even Stewart and Colbert were clearly trying to push past some envelope that had been passed out before with the words "NO POLITICS" Bitch please when Alec Baldwin has nothing to say we might as well say the terrorists have won.

That show truly the worst in any history of Emmy's... despite the fact that it was geniunely one of the most well rounded as far as awards go... truly amazing after years of basically giving nothing to anything outside the same shows year after year... but as proven awards does not generate viewers.. 30 Rock, Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Damages will not see an uptick in viewers.. these shows are not for the mainstream and for that i say THANK GOD.... the mainstream is such gems as My Two DAds or whatever, Jim Belushi, or any other fat fuck with a hot bitch wife... that is McCain-Palin country and those are the people watching tv.. not the "celebrity elite" we can afford cable.
