I'm watching the finale of the "Greatest Cake Decorator" now. I'm rooting for Mary. I've seen her on Amazing Wedding Cakes and other
challenges and like her. Courtney is a whiny little thing (and yeah, that damaging the cake in the fridge karma better bite her in the ass) and there's
something about Bronwen that just annoys the snot outta me. I don't know why, but there you have it. Go Mary!!

Well.... I thought all the cakes were pretty sloppy. But what do you expect on no sleep I guess. Mary's car was not that great, I've seen much better.
I had hopes for Bromwyn's cake but her ideas are always too big for the time allotted. Courtney's was the best, but again was pretty sloppy. Kind of a
'meh' finale.

Yay for the Mary win!
Did anyone catch the repeat this weekend of Bronwen's first win? It must have been some years ago because she looked great: she wore makeup, had a hairstyle and had no bags under her eyes! |

I thought the cereal bridge challenge was pretty stupid. And did anyone catch that challenge a couple of weeks ago where Duff's broke and he just laughed
about it? I thought that was extremely immature of him...kind of disappointed in his attitude overall.

I saw a couple w/Duff. I saw the one where he couldnt present his cake. I think he was laughing because he was the one one responsible for the cake falling a
part. He is a little silly but I think keeps it light. He also had Mike McCarey on Ace of Cakes helping w/a cake for Jay Leno.

Ohhh the flower box woman was so annoying. It did look a little Corpse Bride ish and the roses were terrible.
I don't think it's immature of Duff to laugh- if things are going all wrong and he knows he won't win at least he has a sense of humor about it. Having said that... he's not as great as he's cracked up to be. He's good at structural components and fireworks but his cakes always look worst. The rest of the peeps at Charm City are much better than him. |

Actually I think Duff would agree w/you about his decorators. He delegates most of the work and actually helps out the designers w/o getting in their way. I
like when he consults w/ideas. The part that cracked me up was at one point, when he knew his cake didnt work, he just had a single fish sitting on the table.
At one point Duff did win one of those challenges. I keep watching the old shows hoping to stumble upon it.
Its funny I saw that Rose Designer lady on a mystery theme challenge for a baby shower. It was over done and hideous. I felt bad for the guy hoping to win the date. Did you see how rude she was when he asked if he could help? |

I saw Jayson Ellis one of my favs. The other one I recognized this strange chick from the cereal bridge challenge, her bridge fell apart. I dont think Kerry
likes her.

I missed the damn Last Cake Standing finale...
I'm hoping they rerun it soon...So, I'm avoiding any posts about it. I hope Mary beat Bronwen's arrogant ass. Anyway...tonight, my HOT cake boyfriend has to make a cake for that bitch, Kerry Vincent. They have NEVER gotten along, so tonight should be extra awesome. And I'm sure that Jason will just look so cute and indignant. |
