Pigtails are braids. Or plaits as my mother called them. Pony tails...no matter how many of them you have, are pony tails.
Heh. I was watching some old home videos and my husband's homley little neice was in one as a child with on horrid ponytail sprouting from the top of her ugly egghead like a fountain. God that made me laugh. |

Pony tails are when you put a rubber band type thing around a section of your hair. You can have one, two, or more pony tails.
