(: Whether or not Survivor's ratings are growing by leaps and bound week in and week out, it is still the highest rated show on the toughest TV night of the week. It is probably the only show that has that distinction to NOT be up for any Emmy's - not including Probst's nom for best host

After four episodes of the continuous nincompoop-fest that was Micronesia, I decided enough was enough and never tuned back in. And I don't miss any of it.

And it remained that way until the end. I bashed the first few episodes more than almost anyone, but the post-merge was absolutely fantastic. You can't call a season boring when you only watched less than a third of it. That said, yeah, nowhere close to best season ever. The early episodes have their moments but it takes too long for the real action to begin.

Who would secure the swing vote and take control? Fairplay quitting keeping it sizzling another 2 episodes. The Joel vs Mikey vs Tracy\Chet rivalry was fun too. The season only sagged a bit in the ep.6-7 quit episodes. But otherwise it was golden.

More so that the previous China season. The only duds I consider are episodes 5-8. Everything else is gold. Its funny actually. When I moved into the dorms this year I was trying to get my friends to watch Survivor China. After 6 episodes they quit and said it was the most boring thibg ever. In the spring I got them to try Micronesia and they became hooked. I do agree that Micronesia is not the best season. I would say third.

Posts: 91 (08/09/08 4:11 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I dont think micronesia was boring or anywhere near being the most boring season of all-time but i will agree that it isnt the best season. i think china was a lot better mainly because of fewer people and better editing so we got to know all the people a little bit, unlike in micronesia where we didnt know alexis, natalie, mary, chet, etc. But micronesia was still a great season and probably in my top 5 or so!
