I'm going to France next week, particularly Paris, Versailles, and I'm not sure what else. Has anyone been there recently? Do you have any
recommendations of what to see/where to eat or stay? I don't want to end up doing anything that's mediocre, so I'm curious to get some hands-on
experience. I tried Googling this to get some leads, but it was too damn confusing.

Buy a baguette with ham and cheese *Jambon-Fromage* from a street vendor, you will want to eat one every day.

Street vendors have the best food - strange as it seems.
Be careful - Americans are a huge target for street theft, especially in Paris. Great food overall, though. |

I lost my virginity in Paris at the age of 12 when I was holidaying with my family.
It was 11pm, the family was asleep but I decided to take a walk around Paris. The hookers near the Moulin Rouge area are great. Only 80 euros for 3 cum shots (or less), no matter how old you are. They even serve any beverage of your choice. The room is quite small, but who cares. The bed's soft too. The only problem was Pauline's (my hooker's name) vagina was so god damn loose. But her nipples were hard as stones so I was cool with it. Its worth the 80 euros. They even have male hookers but most of 'em are overweight blacks. |

J'adore France!
Try to speak French when you can. The people really appreciate it. Also, go to the Musee d'Orsay (it's within walking distance of the Louvre) it's the most beautiful museum in the world. Ride the subway; it's beautiful. I went a few years ago and I'm going back in December. Oh remember, Paris smells funny. |

Well, I know NO French at all (except for the basics), so hopefully I won't run into any problems. I'm awful at speaking French though. I can't get
the accent down. I end up pronouncing everything wrong and very American-like. Meh.

No, they are not. When I've been I didn't encounter very many nice people. There was 1 old guy in Cannes that was nice, that was about it. I've
only been the Southern France though, maybe that has something to do with it.
When we went to Europe last year we just stuck to Germany/Austria, love those people and the countries. Been there before and plan on going again next year with a little Italy thrown in. Haven't been to Italy in over 4 years, it is time to go back. Don't have much interest in going back to France, unless it is just a WW2 trip and I get to see Normandy and such. |
