YAY TANK NATION! On a sad note, the preseason game is on TSN... and the SOBs played the newly acquired Hockey Night in Canada theme song on TSN, they'll be airing 40 games this season. Dumbasses at the CBC should be fired for that move.

Sep 24, 2008 06:36 PM It's revered by many as the unofficial national anthem. Now, the iconic hockey theme that once opened CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada" broadcast has a new recording for its TSN debut. TSN's French counterpart, RDS, will broadcast the new recording of the former Hockey Night in Canada theme song for the Montreal Canadiens' Oct. 10 season opener. It will be heard on TSN's English broadcasts starting Oct. 14. |

I just listened to both and compared.
Is it just me or does the new recording seem more subdued? It sounds "cleaner". I still like the original better. I got all goosebumpy and such as I haven't heard it in awhile. |

So, is anyone else as happy with their 18 or 19 year old draft picks as we are in Tank Nation with Luke Schenn? The kid is easily a top 4 Leaf defenceman at 18
with a huge upside to his game.
Damian Cox is pushing for Kaberle to be dealt for a better draft pick. Dayum! Toronto will have veteran shite with Kaberle gone.
