Spirit was hurt chasing a squirrel and can't be at the game. The University of Washington canine mascot, Spirit, has been placed on the disabled list and will be unable to attend Saturday's home football game against Brigham Young University at Husky Stadium after suffering a recent shoulder injury. It is currently unclear how long the Alaskan Malamute will be unable to perform his duties as Washington's live mascot at Husky football games.

A little know fact is it's actually the University of Washington Alaskan Malamutes, but most of the students can't retain that much information after the Friday night frat parties, so they've gone with Husky.

Still 10-9. ETA: BC accepts the penalty assist in the red zone, and goes back up 16-10. ETA2: BC gives up the pick, then recovers to hold GT to a missed 47-yard FG. Still 16-10 BC, now in the 4th. The Ohio Bobcats LEAD THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, 14-12, at the end of the 3rd Quarter!! ...but AAAAAAAAACK!!! The Bobcats just FUMBLED a punt, and Ohio State recovered... 3rd and 11 at the Bobcats 26. IF they can hold them to just a field goal attempt!!!... waiting... ...Dumbasses - they give up a 12 yard pass completion. BEGINNING of the 4th Quarter, Ohio State 1st and 10 at the 14 yard line! GT takes over 4 mins to play, up 19-16. And then promptly gives up a 20 yard QB keeper to GT! BC's out of timeouts, and just gave up a 4th down conversion.
