Most remote post ever? |

I think I may be making the most remote posts ever on OT. I'm in the middle of the Northern Saskatchewan boreal forest posting by cell phone at 1.5kB/sec
because there is no digital service up here. The cabin does have satellite TV, and I've realized I could be a Grizzly Adams type as long as I have a better
Internet connection and satellite TV. I'm even starting to grow a beard. I'll be adopting a bear cub later.

Bali.
Just after Rory's boot in Survivor 9, which I'd accidentally seen in a bar, not having seen the previous two eps due to my travel schedule. I tracked down an internet cafe, needing to vent about a certain fat tub of goo. It took me forever just to log in. But I was on a mission. |

I got you ALL beat!
Tabubil, a mining town in Papua New Guinea, right next to the border of Irian Jaya. Horrible, horrible place, and I may yet have to return... |

For work. It was a few years ago, but they're talking about sending somebody, (probably me) back there.

I got my dog and a few family members. Nothing romantic about this fishing vacation except in the epic Hemingway book sense. Maybe I'll meet a fishing
guide who pulls off her rain jacket and hat to reveal a former model who got sick of the New York, Paris, and Rome lifestyle and took up her first love,
finding secret fishing holes for tourists. She'll probably look a lot like that Cylon chick from Battlestar Galactica. At least that's what is keeping
me going.

St Albans, WV. Sleeping on an air mattress in a house filled with windows and not a mini-blind or drape in sight.
That trumps your cabin. |

Yes, Six. The darker haired version. No peroxide for the hair up here.

Aren't all the dark-haired versions dead from either gunshot wounds or festering diseases?
Christ Saskatchewan is weird. |
