no way, even the best restaurants usually buy ketchup in bulk and fill bottles as needed, then top them off when they come back after the table is cleared.
it's too expensive otherwise

yeah, right, bring out a whole brand new bottle of ketchup for a customer and then throw it all out?

Um, when I get a full bottle of ketchup at a restaurant I fully expect that they've emptied the old bottle, washed and sanitized it and refilled it. Either that or its a brand new bottle You've never worked in a restaurant, have you? |

nothing needs ketchup - it could disappear off the face of the earth and it wouldn't bother me
mustard, on the other hand, or salsa, I'd miss |

Commercially prepared salsa IS ketchup though. Especially "mild" (barf)

The saddest part of this whole war is what it's doing to tomato families everywhere.
Brother against brother.....father against son. |

since ketchup is served in a bottle, it doesn't count as served.

The only application that might use ketchup OR salsa is scrambled eggs. I used to use ketchup, now I use salsa. Otherwise, two completely different animals.

The very idea of ketchup on eggs makes me want to vomit.
Except on a sausage and egg sandwich. In that case, though, it can only touch the sausage and the bread substance. No touching the egg. |

I love ketchup..I used it w/ fries, eggs, steamed veggies, chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs.
Salsa is for tortilla chips and tortilla chips only.. |
