The next lafforific dance of the season is......
In contrast to the last lafforific dance the music was probably the only good thing about this dance. This wasn't a very thought out pairing for the show. I think that Faina would have done well in the competition with another partner. This routine is basically dance-by-numbers to take a comment from one of the judges. There wasn't any hip-hop spirit to the dance. Cedric helping his partner out a little more on how to execute the hip-hop dance would have been nice but it was clear that he didn't know how to partner at all. BTW These three laffotastic dances are in no particular order because we just couldn't pick which one was the worst out of them.

Sabra and Neil's jazz <333 Although looking back on it, it seemed more gimmicky than really dancey, but whatever.
Jaimie and Dominic's waltz Dominic was pretty hilarious, although
it sucks that Jaimie had to go down with him too  If this had been a
traditional Viennese waltz (and not a paso doble wannabe Viennese Waltz), this could have been absolutely gorgeous, what with Jaimie's gorgeous elegance
and lines, and Dominic's ballroom prowess. Also, Mia's comment to Jaimie about catching flies
Cedric </3 As a partner he was so useless Poor Faina, I thought she
actually did a decent job in that hip hop routine.

Faina and Cedric (foxtrot) This was so awkward to watch Faina was gorgeous (and the judges did
praise her), but that's probably the shittiest ballroom performance by a dancer (Cedric) evah � It was embarrassing to watch, especially when he threw in that funky hip hop
move with his hands (it's a freaking foxtrot damn it  what the hell are you
doing?!?!?!) Cedric looked anxious throughout the routine, and it was just not classy nor elegant (well Faina was obviously but it takes two to foxtrot). I
think this was actually a very nicely choreographed foxtrot routine, but it obviously fell flat there. It was also rather ironic that Faina was booted before
Cedric , but whatever.

Ur right. I absolutley LOVE Sabra and Neil's Jazz last season <3 <3 <3 I actually have the sweet dreams song by Annie Lennox and the Eurythmics
on my I-Pod. In my opinion, that would be Mandy Moore's best routine on the show to date <3 <3 <3

I actually watched that episode with 2 "casual fans" of the show, who loved that routine. And I made it a point to show how much they were overrating it. #4 Lacey and Danny (Viennese Waltz) It seems quite fitting that I am posting this dance now, right after a series of posts describing Lacey's skankiness Yes, I disliked Lacey's occasional (okay, who I am kidding,
frequent over-the-top skanky performances), but she was absolutely gorgeous here <333333333 She was classy, elegant, and absolutely beautiful to watch.
Every single move was perfectly choreographed along with the wisely chosen piece of music (Yay Avril :D) and every single move they did I loved <33333333
Ohmigosh Lacey and especially Danny's lines. This just really emphasized Lacey's incredible versatility, and Danny's amazing awesomeness in
anything ballroom. As Nigel said, felt almost like ice skating, it was so smooth. (And Lacey did not hit Danny's goodies =O) This was the most elegant and
gorgeous (in the classical sense) of the season (edging out Danya's waltz, Danya's foxtrot, Passi's smooth waltz, etc) in a season that was filled
with gorgeous waltzes and earns the 4th spot!

So much Avril and Celine music for the dances, Canada's gotta lurve SYTYCD.
That dance was beautiful. Katee/Josh's Viennese Waltz last week is right up there with this one though, IMO. |
