Sara & Jesus (Pop Jazz)



Easily one of the best routines of the season. It just gives me chills every time I watch it. It is my #1 favorite routine of the whole season, but unfortunately it falls just a couple of places shy of the top spot on the countdown. This routine is wildly inventive and something that only someone like Wade Robson could come up with. What makes this routine even better is that it was performed on first performance show of the season and was in retrospect the routine that got me obsessively hooked on watching the show.

There was not a single routine before this that matched its originality and there was not a single dance afterward that season that came even remotely close to being performed in the same style as this routine. The beginning of this routine is the best where they use the newspapers as props and slowly peek out from the top of them. Sara and Jesus were completely in character throughout the whole dance and that made me like the dance even more.

One thing that can always be said about a Wade Robson routine is that it has characters that are so drenched in personality that it is almost impossible to perform it any other way than great. The routine is even better in person as I witnesses when I went to one of the tour dates in Nashville. It was the one routine I was waiting to see that night. This was also the first Sara-ownage routine of the season and showed just how great she was going to be on this season. I think that I have talked too much so I will end this, but this routine will definitely go down as one of the greatest routines of the whole series.

I'm thinking that this next dance on the countdown is going to make you say 'This thread just lost all credibility' though Louie. I hope not, but I'm just saying it might.
