No matter how much I try to keep an open mind, I always end up back explaining how Alex's activities are perfect mole tactics. If it turned out that's he's not the mole, what I would be claiming is that Alex was a better mole than the actual mole.

Clay seems too "in it to win it" (and that may be a good cover for being a mole. haha).
