ST. ALBANS -- A woman was arrested for robbing a St. Albans business. Police say the crime became worse, because she had her two children with her.It happened about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lewies Video Gaming Parlor in St. Albans.
Police say 28 year-old Melissa Spencer entered the business and pointed a pellet gun at the clerk.
Spencer also had her two young children with her in the store during the robbery. One was a 7 year old boy and a 2 year old girl.
She left with an unknown amount of cash, but was captured 6 houses away from the scene. All of the money has been recovered.
The two children were taken from the mother are are with relatives. Spencer is in the South Central regional jail.
