you're a lesbian...no one expects you to have good fashion sense. keep it as hidden as you can though. use your other family room for company.

the color that the dogs can scruff around in and it's perfect. I'll knit you an afghan if you need one in the colors of your choice--I'm running
out of relatives to inflict them on ;-)

I did see that kind of mattress in a mattress store, but I'm thinking that most of them don't come with it
and what she showed didn't really look like a real futon |

It isn't actually a futon, the construction is a bit different. This one wasn't too hard when I sat on it.
My budget is $500 max right now, if I can go cheaper that would make me happy. We do have an Ashley Furniture one town over; I am not allowed to take advantage of the fact that they are a customer and really like me. In fact, if I went with Ashley I would choose the sofa and then send Foo in a few days later for her approval and to pay for it. That way I could be certain that I'm not getting a discount. I try to never do business with customers, which sucks. They are the businesses that I want most to succeed! I do like what Trho posted, and I agree about the micro-fiber/ultrasuede stuff. Our red couch and dark brown chairs are made of that, very easy to clean. The 80 inches part would be no problem, but the end piece might be too deep. The room is purported to be 16 x 14, but I think it is more like 16 x 10. I'm 5' tall and no way could I lay down almost 3 times over in the width. Do the ones like Trho put up have the ability to switch which side the end piece is on? |

Tres, was it called something like a clicker couch? I was looking for something to put in the room my son has his computer & TV and PS2 and found something
they first called a futon, but the sales person later called it a clicker (I think). It was more substantial than a futon and it was like $300 - $400.

My sister in law bought one of those and just a few months later it was sagging on one side, ugly, and uncomfortable. A seat with no arms is the suck.
She paid 300 for hers. It looked cute the first week she had it, but honestly it was a waste of 300.00. MAYBE one for the dogs but you don't want to sit on that thing. |
