I say HII (Guat style) and Final 3 is really Final 2 should be out in the next two/three few cause honestly, yea, it caused a lot of panic and chaos but it isn't that great after you see the season again.

Honestly, you just took out one of the last remaining decent twists on the list. Ambassadors is just boring by comparison to some of the others and it's
hardly even a twist. Tie votes resulted in only two occurences, one of which resulted in the second-biggest biggest screw-job and turnaround in Survivor
history, tribally. All-Stars returning sucks, given how it basically became a dick-waving contest by the alpha males who got owned by fucking Lamber. The
Guatemala HII is far less entertaining than the Fiji version, simply because it's essentially the same as a regular immunity idol. The person who gets it
has absolutely no power, other than to get one more round in the game. And the F3 = F2 was just outright unfair, given that if you keep changing from F2 to F3
to F2, no one is going to be able to plan for the finals properly, and as a result, you have people like Becky and Cassandra, who could've probably won
otherwise, getting screwed by the editting, and people like Parvati and Amanda, who really made some dumb moves in letting Cirie get to the final 3, completely
erase their mistake by giving them another chance to take her out.
Only good twists left are the swap, which added another level to the gameplay, although Marquesas, All-Stars, Guatemala and China were unfair, and Men vs. Women, because unlike dividing by race, there actually are differences in men and women that could chance the way the game plays out. |

I love how people actually think the All-Stars didn't know anything about 3 tribes until meeting the others. So I guess they thought it was just going to
be a 12-person game then?

Maybe they thought it was going to be 4 tribes

Why would they think that over three tribes? |

I remember reading an interview with Rudy where he said something around the lines of Saboga thinking that they weren't really a tribe. They thought they were getting punked like the merge in Thailand. |

All Stars coming back turned into that, but the twist says All Stars return. I hate the current HII. I hate the final three. |

I'd say that the tribal swap has to win this ranking. It has had some kind of impact in every season that it has been applied. |

Has the no feast at the merge in Guatemala twist already been mentioned?

3 tribes was an amazing twist. I can't believe they've only done it once in 16 seasons. Like wtf.

I was going to get the next update up earlier today, but after hearing that Gabon will not only not have three tribes, but also Exile and a HII, I'm a
little pissed off to say the least. I've lost faith that the twists are going to get any better. Next two will be up hopefully tomarrow, but I'm not
going to guarrentee it (just because I have stuff going on in real life).

They're also bringing back the HII and Exile (with a twist where they can choose luxery or the HII)...I posted this in another thread, but I'll post it again because this is ridiculous. Shit. All they had to do this season was have three tribes of 6 with a merge at 10, and they would have had a great season. Now, I'm worried as hell. All my hope for Gabon went out the window after hearing that shit, even after seeing a pretty good cast...I'm really hoping that at least the final three is gone for good, but we might be in for a long season. |

Sorry, but 3 tribes to the merge seems likely to absolutely mess up a season.
Editing-wise, it's hard to develop characters on tribes that never went to TC. That happened to a majority of Koror, and ever new Airai when they won 4 straight IC last season. Imagine if it's 5-4-1 at the merge, almost everyone has barely been to TC. If one tribe loses 4/5 ICs, there will be massive numbers of challenge sit-outs on the other tribe. Challenge desigers will have no idea how low the numbers might go. At the merge, a likely scenario is that the dominant tribe gets pagonged and the two weaker ones gang up. That sucks. Or if the dominant tribe makes it with 5 players, they do the pagonging. |
