As much as the audience was supposed to dislike him, Richard Hatch was actually prefered to Kelly by everyone on the jury except for Gervase and Jenna. Kelly
got the extra vote from Colleen because she pitied her and Greg would of voted for Rich no matter what.

Wow I hate Dan. What was going on with that veto competition? The whole thing went so fast, and the picture looked all weird. And Dan didn't even have his
second veto on the ring when he hit the buzzer, and then I blinked and it was on the ring. Bizarre. I wonder if he is the one they picked to win or Jerry. We
will see which one Grodner prefers.

Dan won because that competition WAS rigged-but not in the no veto rings in Ollie's hay, etc. standard way. It was strictly physical based on who ran the
fastest. When you're older like Jerry or Renny you can not keep up. Memphis and Dan are basically in the best shape, Ollie is a bit overweight (Memphis too
but not by much) and Keesha is probably out of her element racing. So it was pretty much a foregone conclusion and producers knew it. Had Jerry had the luck to
win POV it would have been different but that sealed Dan's fate as safe for now which is a huge disappointment to untold numbers of viewers such as we who
hate his fucking guts. It was terribly disappointing. The only luck element in POV was could you find your medals fast enough and again younger and more able
bodied participants can dig through that hay more quickly-for Jerry or Renny to win would have required incredible luck finding the medals first and by a
significant amount of time over their younger rivals.
