That's Lundi Gras, ILT. It's the Monday before Fat Tuesday.
Mardi Gras parades start about 2 weeks before Fat Tuesday. There are several every day all around town. Actually, the best ones are before Mardi Gras day. |

ps - I believe that the week before Fat Tuesday, co-incides with Mardi Gras, and the Catholic 'Lent' is also matched up with Fat Tuesday. Lent, begins the day after the end of Fat Tuesday on midnight, for one month - well, 40 days, or whatever the self imposed term would be. |

Yeah, that's my doggie dressed up for the BB finale. Blistering did it for me. <3
It's more than the week before Fat Tuesday. It actually starts on "12th night" which is right after Christmas. That's when we do the King Cake parties & other celebrations. The parades start about 2 weeks before Fat Tuesday. And yes, Fat Tuesday is Mardi Gras. Lent starts the next day or Ash Wednesday. |

Lundi Gras has my favorite parade too. It was started several years ago by Harry Connick, Jr. & it has the most celebrities riding in it. My good friend,
Jean Knight (Mr. Big Stuff is her hit single) always rides on Lundi Gras. She passes me the best stuff. Such fun!
And I agree that while Endymion has the best head dresses & floats, Bacchus is more exciting with it's celebrity King Bacchus. The flambeauxs are awesome too. I've shown many flashes of my tits to get the big beads at both these parades.
