(that in itself is a huge accomplishment.) i thought it was a really good season mainly because of dan----seeing him find ways to get himself from one week to the next and miraculously win the game was fun for me. and it should quiet the people who denied the vital importance of playing to GET TO THE END, and then making your case in front of the jury. that's how he played it and he did it better than anyone ever has, IMO. This is the kind of post I'm looking for, I am glad you are back.

Posts: 3012 (09/25/08 5:23 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	thanks, crappy. i still haven't read everything, but i honestly do think we've never seen a better player. i read one interview where he told his boss at the school he absolutely KNEW he'd win the game. some call that cocky---i call it confidence. maybe what galls his detractors is he was right! i just think he's a rare combination for this show---he was a great player/BB winner, and he's also a very good human being. he's living proof it IS possible to be both and i'd about given up on that notion. it's very refreshing. he's my favorite winner ever.

I like this one because it isn't full of glitter and incessant <3 crap. We posted about his game play, why he made us love BB again rather than just watch because we always have and that he brought the love of the game back as a game tactic. Great season and an even better winner. Good luck Dan, but I don't think you will be needing it. You are one hell of a smart young man who has one of the two things that have been sorely lacking in BB for years...respect and doing it for the love of the game. That's why you won. You respect the game enough to play it like it should be and you respected your fellow hamsters whether they deserved it or not. Many did not. You brought back the love of the game in a lot of us by watching how much giddy joy you had in playing it. Thanks.
