When the Michelle/Keesha/Dan/Memphis final 4 was discussed they wanted to take Keesha to the final 3. They even wanted to take Keesha to the final 3 over Renny. I also think that Keesha was closer to Dan then Memphis, at least these last few weeks.

Dan was always too worried about Michelle being a jury threat and being able to win the final comps.

I was out of town on business for almost 4 weeks, if you include the week I was in Alaska on a cruise <grin>. I have only been home 3 days and have not even watched the last 4 episodes. I saw the finale and was glad Dan won with a unanimous verdict. I saw where he told the jury he did that crazy assed thing as HOH to get people to hate him to keep him in the house or some crazy shit. It made sense at the time. This was a really good season and it was captivating watching a total underdog overcome a bad start to the game an PWN the house. Kudos to dan!!

It made sense at the time. He admitted in later interviews that he was only spinning it that way to the jury to get votes. He never intended to try to make them hate him. He was only trying to get other names out there to take the attention off him. He realized immediately it was a bonehead move as soon as he did it. QSF, didn't you have to go to New Orleans? I was hoping you weren't down here during the hurricanes.
