It's obvious that winners of Survivor need a lot of luck to win. Some more than others.
Take Parvati, for instance. It can be argued that, had any of the five anomalous departures not taken place, she would have been toast. Had Fairplay stayed, she would have been the first booted. Had Chet happened, a fan would have won. Had Jonathan not been the victim of a Kirhoffer brain fart, she would've likely been either the victim of a thrown Airai challenge early or of a numbers disadvantage late. Had KB not gone crazy, she would have been comfortable with the numbers also. Had James waited a few more hours to be voted out, she would have lost to Cirie in a Final 3.
Has there been so much luck involved in getting the prize? The only question left for me is just what exactly did she promise the devil?
