I was way too busy durning the Olympics to watch them. I'm still clearing them off my TiVo. I missed the opening ceremonies but that the closing were impressive. I liked the use of light and just sheer numbers of folks. Not so impressed by hours upon hours upon hours of beach volley ball. The Chinese have provided "the appropriate documents". When the home goverenment is complicit in the deception, there's really nothing anyone can do. I agree that at some point the girls involved will reveal their true ages during this Olympics. It will just a be a foot note by that point.

In four years at the next Olympics, I'm sure the US will have 10-year-old chipmunks, I mean, gymnasts, pretending to be 16. They might even be Chinese descendants. Ha! Remeber the US used to call the Russian and Eastern European gymnasts cold-hearted machines? Nothing but machines with no emotions whatsoever that are 'manufactured in factories' just to win medals? But then the US began to import all those gymnastics coaches and gymnasts from those countries, and now they have Russians competing for them. So, at the next Olympics, we'll probably see 10 or 12-year-old Chinese girls competing under the US flag and winning everything. Then, how proud Americnas will be of them!
